13th MALAYSIAN GENERAL ELECTION 2013, THE WAY FORWARD – PART 5

Anwar Ibrahim cleverly made the PAS leaders to agree with his proposal that PAS must not remain alone but to join with PKR and DAP to form Pakatan Rakyat in order to defeat Barisan National. I am sure the main point used by Anwar Ibrahim to convince PAS leaders to join Pakatan Rakyat was to form a strong opposition party coalition. I am sure Anwar Ibrahim was using the point that only a strong opposition coalition will be able to defeat Barisan National and Pakatan Rakyat will not become a strong opposition coalition without PAS joining Pakatan Rakyat. I am sure initially PAS was quite hesitant to join Pakatan Rakyat because by joining Pakatan Rakyat it means PAS will also have to collaborate with DAP which is a non-Muslim party. How PAS finally join Pakatan Rakyat? Before joining Pakatan Rakyat, I heard the PAS leaders went to seek the advice of a renown Muslim scholar by the name of Sheikh Qardawi who told PAS leaders that it is allowable to have association with a non-Muslims party as long as the purpose of the association with the non-Muslims party is to overthrow a tyrant government and according to the PAS leaders, Barisan National is a tyrant government. With the advice given by Sheikh Qardawi, PAS justified herself to join Pakatan Rakyat in order to overthrow Barisan Rakyat which PAS believe is a party of tyrants.
In my opinion, when PAS joined Pakatan Rakyat, Pas has made a great mistake. Actually it is wrong to believe when PAS joins PKR and DAP to form Pakatan Rakyat, the opposition party will win and be able to defeat Barisan National. These words must have triggered the minds and soul of the leaders of PAS when they joined PKR and DAP to form Pakatan Rakyat. Do all the three parties in Pakatan Rakyat have the same aim? No. The three parties in Pakatan Rakyat do not even have the same aim to form a strong opposition party coalition. What is the common aim which makes the three parties agreed to cooperate with each other? The common aim with all the three parties is just to overthrow Barisan National. All the leaders of the three political parties have the common desire to snatch the power to rule Malaysia from Barisan National and all of them hate UMNO and Barisan National to the core particularly Dato’ Nik Aziz, the spiritual leader of PAS. In my opinion, PAS leaders are willing join PKR and DAP to form Pakatan Rakyat just because they hate so much UMNO and Barisan National. Why Pas leaders hate UMNO and Barisan National? What are the mistakes which UNO and Barisan National have done which makes even the pious leader of PAS unable to forgive the leaders of UMNO and Barisan National?
I believe the PAS leaders have so much hatred towards UMNO and Barisan National because they were willing to ignore even their own fatwa which they have made previously on UMNO. What was the fatwa which they have made previously on UMNO? The fatwa was ‘UMNO is the party of the infidels (Kafir)’. Why PAS made the fatwa that UMNO is the party of the infidels (Kafir)? PAS made the fatwa because UMNO joined with the non-Muslims parties of MCA and MIC to form Perikatan or Barisan National. In my opinion, Anwar Ibrahim was able to convince PAS leaders to join DAP and PKR and formed Pakatan Rakyat with the reason to form a strong opposition party coalition which will win and be able to snatch the power to rule Malaysia from Barisan National. In my opinion Anwar Ibrahim must certainly have told the PAS leaders that Pakatan Rakyat will certainly win in the 13th general election, and he will certainly become the next Prime Minister of Malaysia. However, Barisan National still won the 13th general election. Why Barisan National still won the general election? Barisan National still won the general election because in my opinion, Pakatan Rakyat is not good competitor enough to Barisan National.
Pakatan Rakyat is the cooperation of three parties with no common aim. Pakatan Rakyat is not a coalition party as Barisan National and it has no strong common aim other than to snatch the power to rule Malaysia from Barisan National. When Pakatan Rakyat a cooperation of three parties is still unable to win the last general election what more if each of the three parties contested individually against Barisan National. In case each of the three parties contested individually against Barisan National, certainly Barisan National will have even bigger win in the general election. Since 56 years of independence, Malaysia still did not have another party of the same caliber as Barisan National. In case in the next twenty years Malaysia still did not have another party of the same caliber as Barisan National, I am quite certain that in the future general elections, Barisan National will still win. What will happen to Malaysia when only Barisan National wins in all the future general election in Malaysia? In case that happen in Malaysia, then in my opinion it is not good for Malaysia. A democratic country with one party system which always wins in all the general election is not healthy for the country. A democratic country with one party which always wins the general election and rule the country will be heavily infected with corruption, cronyism and nepotism.
Many Malaysians believe that Barisan National is a party which is heavily infected with corruption, cronyism and nepotism. There are many evidences which support the accusation. In my opinion, a democratic country with one party system is certainly not good because it will certainly lead to the increase practices of corruption, nepotism and cronyism like in Malaysia. When the practices of corruption, nepotism and cronyism continue to rampant in Malaysia, Malaysia will become a country with very small group of peoples who will become very rich while the majority of the peoples will become very poor. I believe Malaysians would not like to have a country with very small group of peoples who are very rich while the majority of the peoples are very poor. What is the best and most suitable system for Malaysia? What is the best way forward for Malaysia in her political system? When it is not possible and suitable for Malaysia to have a democratic country with two parties system like United State of America, and also when it is not possible and suitable for Malaysia to have a democratic country with a one party system like China, what will be the most suitable and possible system to be practiced in Malaysia?
Why it is not possible for Malaysia to follow the democratic political system which is similar to the United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia? It is not possible for Malaysia to follow the democratic political system which is similar to the United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia because the society which exists in United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia is not the same as the society which exist in Malaysia. It is not suitable and possible because the conditions and situations of our society are not the same as the conditions and situations of the society which exists in United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia. The societies in all those countries belong nearly to the same race, speak the same language, have the same religion and live with the same culture. Although the Africans in the United State of America have black skin colour, used to be Muslims, speak different languages and have different culture than the white Americans but now most of them have become Christians, speak English and some have forgotten their own original language and have adopted the same culture as the rest of the whites who live in Americans, United Kingdom and Australia.
Now if we look at the conditions and situation of our society in Malaysia it is totally different from the society in the United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia. What is the condition of the various races in Malaysia? In Malaysia, although there are many Chinese and Indians who were born in Malaysia but they do not know how to speak Malay and do not know about the Malay culture. In Malaysia, majority of the Chinese are Buddhist or Christians, majority of the Indians are Hindus or Christians while all the Malays are Muslims. There are very few from among the Chinese and the Indians who have become Muslims in Malaysia. In Malaysia all the three major races are still clinging and adhere very strongly to their own culture. With three different major races who live in Malaysia and each race has different language, culture and religion, in my opinion, it is not suitable and possible to have a democratic country which practices two parties system as in United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia. In my opinion, we will not be successful to become a country which is stable, prosperous and harmony in case we try to become a democratic country with two parties system as in United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia. In my opinion, Malaysia will only become a country which is stable, prosperous and harmony when Malaysia is governed by a political party which is similar to Barisan National but free from all the practices ofcorruption, nepotism and cronyism
As all of us know that Pakatan Rakyat did not win and Barisan National is the party which won in the last Malaysian general Elections. Anwar Ibrahim who is the leader of Pakatan Rakyat was very confident that Pakatan Rakyat will win in the 13 Malaysian General elections and that he will become the 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia. Anwar Ibrahim had announced to the Malaysian public that he will be retiring from politic in case Pakatan Rakyat loses the general election. At about 6.00 pm on the day of the general election, 5th May 2013, Anwar Ibrahim with great confidence had announced to the Malaysians public that Pakatan Rakyat had won the 13th Malaysian general election. What a shame to Anwar Ibrahim and Pakatan Rakyat, when the real official result of the general election was officially announced by SPR or election commissions at about 2.00 am, the next morning, 6th May 2013, the winner of the 13th Malaysian General Election was Barisan National and not Pakatan Rakyat. Anwar Ibrahim was not able to accept the fact that Pakatan Rakyat had lost the general election and he behaved as if he was a mad person by immediately announced to the public that the result of the 13th general election was null and void. Anwar Ibrahim believed that Pakatan Rakyat had actually won the general election but Barisan National with fraud practices overturned the result.
Instead of accepting the defeat of Pakatan Rakyat in the last general election, Anwar Ibrahim blamed SPR or the Election Commissions (EC) for not doing their work in preventing the frauds actions of Barisan National. Anwar Ibrahim claimed that Barisan National had won the general actions because of frauds actions. Anwar claimed that Barisan National with the cooperation of SPR has brought many illegal voters into the country with the sole purpose of voting for Barisan National. Although there were no evidences to show that Barisan National has brought many illegal voters into the country with the sole purpose of voting for Barisan National but Anwar Ibrahim continued to instigate the false perception towards Barisan National among the Malaysians, particularly the youths. What is the false perception which Anwar Ibrahim was trying to instill into the mind of the Malaysians, particularly the youths? Anwar Ibrahim was trying to make Malaysians and the youth to believe that Barisan National had won the general election by fraud actions. At the time when this article is written, Anwar Ibrahim still continues to instigate the false perception toward Barisan National among Malaysians and particularly the youth by organizing mass gathering of hundreds of thousands of peoples in various stadiums all over Malaysia. Anwar Ibrahim gives very fiery lectures which Anwar Ibrahim hopes with the fiery lectures will stimulate, particularly the youth to have false perception towards Barisan National. Allah has given Anwar Ibrahim the ability to give fiery lectures but without sound facts or real evidences and with wrong words which will only stimulate the sentiment of hatred among the youth towards Barisan National. When the level of hatred among the youth toward Barisan National has reached to a certain level, Anwar Ibrahim hopes to bring the youths to roads demonstration and with the roads demonstration, Anwar Ibrahim hopes to create chaos and instability within the country and with the chaos and instability within the country Anwar Ibrahim hopes to finally lead to the toppling of the legally elected government. When the legally elected government is toppled, Anwar Ibrahim hopes the Malaysians public unanimously will choose him to become the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Why Anwar Ibrahim was so confident that Pakatan Rakyat will wins the 13thMalaysians general election? Anwar Ibrahim was confident, Pakatan Rakyat will win the 13th general election because whenever he went for any political lectures within the country, Anwar observed there were hundreds of thousands of peoples coming to listen to his lectures. Actually, the presence of hundreds of thousands of peoples who were willing to listen to the political lecture given by Anwar Ibrahim did not mean they supported Anwar in the general election but Anwar mistakenly interpreted the presence of hundreds of thousands of peoples who were willing to listen to the political lecture given by him as the signs that Pakatan Rakyat will win in the general elections. Unfortunately in the last Malaysian general election Pakatan Rakyat again lost to Barisan National. Pakatan Rakyat won only 89 of the parliamentary seats and was able to rule only the three states out of fourteen states in Malaysia. We observed, in the last general election, the numbers of persons who were voting for Pakatan Rakyat have increased tremendously which were expected to come mainly from the youth who have become the new voters and who have recently become more Islamic minded. The increase numbers of persons who were voting for Pakatan Rakyat were expected to come also mainly from the Chinese who live in the urban areas and who believe, this time Pakatan Rakyat will rule Malaysia.
In the last general election, the numbers of persons who have voted for Pakatan Rakyat have also increases tremendously particularly in Kelantan and Terengganu which many believe to have come from the youth who are living mainly in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Singapore and at the time of the general election, they went back to Kelantan and Terengganu for voting. These youth who were living mainly in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Singapore turned to have more Islamic minded because they were listening to the lectures given by many religious scholars such as Ustaz Azhar Idrus and the members of Jemaah Tabligh. Those peoples who live in the rural areas or sub urban areas and who were not much exposed to the fiery lectures given by Anwar Ibrahim and Ustaz Azhar Idrus were still the strong supporters of Barisan National. Anwar Ibrahim and Ustaz Azhar Idrus are public speakers who were able to gather big crowds to listen to their lectures. Whenever Anwar Ibrahim and Ustaz Azhar Idrus gave lectures to the public, there were hundreds of thousands of peoples who are willing to listen to their lectures and both Anwar Ibrahim and Ustaz Azhar Idrus were advocating to the Malaysians public to vote for Pakatan Rakyat. Ustaz Azhar Idrus came out with the fatwa that to vote for Barisan National will makes a person to become non-Muslim and therefore will make the persons to enter hellfire. Ustaz Azhar Idrus also advised Malaysians public to vote for Pakatan Rakyat and not for Barisan National if they do not want to enter hellfire. Although Ustaz Azhar Idrus actually was deceiving the public when he told the public that they will enter hellfire if they vote for Barisan National but I am sure none among those who listened to his lecture know that Ustaz Azhar Idrus was deceiving them and many believed that Ustaz Azhar Idrus was telling the truth and therefore many of the youth thought that to vote for Barisan National will make a person to enter hellfire. I believe many of the youth who listen to the advice of Ustaz Azhar Idrus were voting for PAS and not for Barisan National. Why the youth believed with the advices given by Ustaz Azhar Idrus? The youth believed with the advices given by Ustaz Azhar Idrus because they thought Ustaz Azhar Idrus is an ulamak and as an ulamak many believe Ustaz Azhar Idrus was telling the truth. Many Malay youth in the last general elections were voting for PAS or PKR in Pakatan Rakyat and not for UMNO of Barisan National. Many of the Malay youth want Islam and they believe when they vote for the Islamic party like PAS in Pakatan Rakyat they were supporting Islam. Many of the youth believe when they support Islam, there will be no more corruption, nepotism and cronyism in Malaysia. I believe with many lectures given by Ustaz Azhar Idrus, other Ustaz and the members of Jemaah Tabligh, many of the so called Malay youth have started to have Islamic minded and change their direction to support Islam and because they want Islam in the last general election, they were voting for PAS and not for UMNO.
