HOW THE DEVIL SYAITAN DECEIVE MEN AND HOW MEN CAN PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM THE DEVIL SYAITAN

Since women are easily deceived by syaitan, Allah does not allow woman to become judges or leaders of Muslims. In term of witness, instead of one, two women are needed to become a witness. According to Prophet Muhammad saw, the man who is under the control of woman should not be made the amir or the leader of Muslims. Men who are under the control of their wives or their mother are easily deceived by Iblis and syaitan. With the belief that beautiful women can give happiness, many men are ready to spend lots of time and money in order to attract beautiful women. Syaitan on the other hand, influence many women to put beautiful and sexy clothes to be sexually appeal to men. Syaitan will make women to spend more money and time in making their bodies look attractive to men. Syaitan will make women to spend more money on beautiful clothes and expensive cosmetics so that men get attracted to them. When there is a man and a woman in a room, syaitan will induce strong lust for both of them to disobey the order of Allah. Prophet Muhammad saw told that a man should not be with a woman in a closed room because there will be syaitan who will induce them into actions which are forbidden by Allah. Syaitan will try to make men to enjoy their life in this world and to forget the life of the hereafter. Syaitan will make men to believe when they are able to do whatever they want; to eat whatever they like and to drink whatever they wishes they will become happy in this world. Syaitan will make men to believe that the world is the place to enjoy and that there is no life after the life in this world.

Iblis will persuade men to have the lifestyles which complement to men’s desires. Syaitan will persuade men to follow animalistic lifestyle and persuade men to disobey all the orders of Allah. Iblis will deceive men into the belief that the life in this world is the only life, and men need to make the full use of this life for their enjoyment. Men are persuaded by Iblis to live in this world following their desires and not to live according to the desires of Allah. Iblis will make men to believe that happiness is related to the freedom of doing anything that men like. When non-Muslims commit fornication or adultery, syaitan will not inject sensation of pleasure into their actions. Syaitan knows all the actions of the non-Muslims whether good or bad are not accepted by Allah and whether the non-Muslims commit an act of fornication or not, it is the same to Allah as all of them will have to enter hellfire forever. But when Muslims are disobeying the orders of Allah, Iblis and syaitan will inject sensation of pleasure into the acts of disobedience done by the Muslims so that the Muslims will continue to commit the act of disobedience to Allah. Because of this sensation of pleasure, many more Muslims men and women are trapped with evil actions as compared to the non-Muslims. Iblis will make men to be attracted in doing almost anything they like in this world because many men believe that happiness is related to the ability to do anything they like. When men just do whatever they like, men will become like animals. In the name of freedom to do anything they like, peoples in the western world eat, drink, sleep and even having sex like the animals.

When a non-Muslims sleep, syaitan will not tie any ropes to the body of the non-Muslims but when Muslims sleep syaitan will try to make Muslims to enjoy their sleep more than the non-Muslims. Syaitan will tie the body of the Muslims with three ropes. One of the ties will be broken when the Muslims mention the name of Allah at the time of waking up from sleep. Another tie will be broken when the Muslims take wudhu or ablution and the third tie will be broken when the Muslims perform solat. Syaitan will try to prevent Muslims from performing tahajjud and fajar prayer. Syaitan will tell the Muslims who have been awakened from their sleep to continue sleeping by telling the Muslims that the night is still long and that you may continue with your sleep. When the Muslims continue with their sleep, syaitan will urinate into the ears of the Muslims so that the Muslims will not hear the call of azan. Then, the Muslims will not be able to wake up from their sleep at the time of fajar prayers and they are deprived from performing tahajjud solat as well as the fajar solat.

Syaitan fears azan because azan is a call to Allah and to the orders of Allah. With the work of calling peoples to Allah and to the orders of Allah, there is the power of Allah. Syaitan and Iblis cannot confront the power of Allah and because of that syaitan and Iblis fears azan and when the azan is called they will run away to a distance until they cannot hear the sound of the azan. The power of Allah is with the azan. Azan is the call to all Muslims in the localities towards Allah and toward the order of Allah. The desire to sleep is one of the desires which can be used by syaitan to deceive men. Because of the desire to sleep many men are deceived by syaitan into disobedience to the order of Allah. Because of the desire to sleep many Muslims are not performing the fajar solat and the tahajjud solat. When Muslims become believers, their desire to sleep decreases and during the night they will spend more time to perform tahajjud solat and to remember Allah. Muslims who have not become believers will spend very little time or no time at all during the night to pray the solat of tahajjud.

In spite of doing the work of Jemaah Tabligh for so many years I found my iman was still weak. When I was with Jemaah Tabligh, I was able to perform the solat of tahajjud only when I was in my 3 days or 40 days or 4 months outing or when I was in the Masjid for iktikaf. The moment I came back from the outing, I will no longer be able to perform the solat of tahajjud which I used to do during the outing. I became even more worried when there are times when I was late even for the performance of the fajar prayer with jemaah in the mosque in my locality. Whenever I miss the prayer of fajar solat with jemaah I used to punish myself by sleeping the next night in the mosque and not in the house with my wife. It appears to me that the effect of the outing is similar to the effect of the drugs to the drug addicts. I knew with the outing of 3 days or 40 days or 4 months which I have been doing for so many years, I was not really rectified or cured from the disease of weak iman. I knew that the outings are not the real medicines to cure me from the disease of weak iman but the effect of the outings is almost the same like the effect of drugs on the body. What is the real medicine? I do not know. When I was late for the fajar solat with jemaah in my local mosques, I knew at that time that this is the indication that my iman is still weak. I asked myself the question, how could my iman is still weak when I have been doing the work of Jemaah Tabligh or the so call the work of Prophet Muhammad saw for more than twenty years? I also used to ask many times the question to myself; if the work of Jemaah Tabligh is the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw as claim by the elders of Jemaah Tabligh then why my iman was still weak? For so many years I could not find the answer to the question. I knew from the Hadis that our amal or action which we do today must be better than our actions or amals that we have done yesterday and our actions or amals that we will do tomorrow should be better that the actions or amals that we have done today. I used to review my actions or amals from time to time.

Prior to the work of Jemaah Tabligh, I was continuously searching for any books which may explains about the work which had been done by the Prophet Muhammad saw more than one thousand four hundred years ago but I could not find one. Why I want to do the work which had been done by the Prophet Muhammad saw? I used to wonder on the ability of the work of Prophet Muhammad saw to please Allah and make Him to change such a hard-hearted person like Hazrat Umar and many others into a person of virtue. I want to know about the work of Prophet Muhammad saw that by the will of Allah has transformed Hazrat Umar from an evil person to a person of virtues. I am convinced if the work of Prophet Muhammad saw which was done more than one thousand years ago is made alive in this world; the whole mankind can be transform from evils to virtue. However I do not know the work of Prophet Muhammad saw and I could not find any books explaining about the work and I have never seen anyone who is doing a work which is close to the work of Prophet Muhammad saw. In 1970’s when I met the work of Jemaah Tabligh in Australia, immediately I fell in love with the work. What I love about the work of Jemaah Tabligh is that they put great emphasis on the importance of going to visit the peoples which is quite similar to the work of Prophet Muhammad saw. According to me the work of Jemaah Tabligh is special because no other work except the work of Jemaah Tabligh that gives great importance to visiting the peoples.

In order to ascertain that the work of Jemaah Tabligh is the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw, in January 1979, I went to India and Pakistan for 4 months. I have mentioned in my previous articles that after I have completed the 4 months outing to India and Pakistan I have concluded that the work of Jemaah Tabligh is not the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw but the work of Jemaah Tabligh when compared to the other work of the Muslims in the whole world at that time is the nearest to the work of Prophet Muhammad saw. When I was with Jemaah Tabligh, I was constantly worried if Allah is not accepting me as the workers of the work of Prophet Muhammad saw. Among all the works done by Muslims at that time I have chosen to do the work of Jemaah Tabligh before I could find the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw. I really wanted to do the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw and I really wanted to be recognized by Allah as the worker of the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw. In case Allah told me after my death that I was not doing the work of Prophet Muhammad saw while in this world, I will be the most frustrated person that ever live in this world. In my heart I really wanted to do the work of Prophet Muhammad saw and to be recognized by Allah as the worker of the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw. Even though I was worried that I might be doing the work of Indians Muslims but during that time I could not find any other Jemaah in this world which I believe to be doing the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw. Although the elders of Jemaah Tabligh always claim that Jemaah Tabligh is doing the work of Prophet Muhammad saw but, I knew in my heart that their claim are false. I knew the work of Jemaah Tabligh is not really the true work of Prophet Muhammad from the day I have completed my 4 months outing in India and Pakistan.

Although at that time, I believed the work of Jemaah Tabligh was not the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw but I have no other choice but to do the work of Jemaah Tabligh because the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw at that time was not available yet by Allah. In my opinion it was better for me to do the work of Jemaah Tabligh which has some similarity with the work of Prophet Muhammad saw rather than not doing any work of Dakwah at all. Many Muslims in Malaysia during the early days of Jemaah Tabligh in Malaysia do not like the work of Jemaah Tabligh. The Muslims in Malaysia said at that time that the work of Jemaah Tabligh is the work of the Indians Muslims and Muslims in Malaysia used not to allow Jemaah Tabligh to use their mosques for the work of Jemaah Tabligh. Some Muslims particularly in areas such as Dato Keramat in Kuala Lumpur and many parts of Johor hate the work of Jemaah Tabligh and many ustaz in Malaysia often made funs the work of Jemaah Tabligh.

Many ustaz critize the work of Jemaah Tabligh and even Malaysian government is not in favour with the work of Jemaah Tabligh. During the early days of the work of Jemaah Tabligh, all the workers of Jemaah Tabligh in Malaysia make so many sacrifices in order to enable the work to take its root in Malaysia. During that time whenever I received the criticism from the Muslims about the work of Jemaah Tabligh I used to think in the positive way ; to do work of Dakwah with so many mistakes is better than not doing the work of Dakwah at all. On the other hand all the ustaz and the Muslims who criticize the work of Jemaah Tabligh only know how to criticize but they themselves are not doing at all the work of Dakwah. Many ustaz only know how to critize the work of Jemaah Tabligh but they are not giving the Muslims a better alternatives than the work of Jemaah Tabligh. Many ustaz are only busy in making money by giving lectures to the Muslims in the mosques. None of those who criticize the work of Jemaah Tabligh come out with a new work which is better than the work of Jemaah Tabligh or the work which is even closer to the work of Prophet Muhammad saw. At that time I used to think in the positive ways that to do the work of Dakwah with twenty mistakes like doing the work of Jemaah Tabligh is better than not doing the work of Dakwah at all. According to Maulana Ilyas the twenty mistakes while doing the work of Dakwah are still small when compared with one mistake of not doing the work of Dakwah at all. With this in mind I was doing the work of Jemaah Tabligh although in my heart I believe it is not the true work of Prophet Muhammad saw.

I admit even during the days when I was with Jemaah Tabligh I knew that there are so many things in Jemaah Tabligh which has no basis from the Quran and Hadis. Whenever I was asked by other Muslims whether the tertib of going out for 3 days every month and 40 days every year and 4 months once in the whole lifetime come from the Quran and Hadis? I used to answer to them, that the tertib does not come from the Quran and the Hadis but it comes from the elders of Jemaah Tabligh. I knew it is a Bid’ah but since at that time, there was no better alternative than the work of Jemaah Tabligh I had to force myself to continue with the work of Jemaah Tabligh. In my opinion all the ustaz who criticize the work of Jemaah Tabligh only know how to criticize but they themselves are not doing the work of Dakwah or Tabligh.

I also knew that the six qualities of Jemaah Tabligh does not come from the Quran and Hadis and whenever any Muslims asked me about the sources from which the six qualities are derived, I used to admit to them that it does not come from the Quran and Hadis but it comes from the ulama of Jemaah Tabligh. In jemaah Tabligh the six qualities is supposed to be the outcomes of the work. All the members of Jemaah Tabligh should have the entire six outcomes after doing the work of Jemaah Tabligh for sometimes. In case a member of Jemaah Tabligh does not have the entire six qualities as the outcomes in his life it means that person is not doing the work of Jemaah Tabligh. What is the work that a member of Jemaah Tabligh has to do in order to obtain the entire six qualities as outcomes? What is the work to be done in order to obtain the six qualities is not clearly explained in Jemaah Tabligh. What I see and know is that the work of Jemaah Tabligh is to obtain more Muslims to join their group. When the work is to get more Muslims to join the work of Jemaah Tabligh it means that the outcome which is the six qualities and an increase in iman will never be achieved in the work of Jemaah Tabligh.

Increase in iman is not proportionally to the number of Muslims that a person can obtain to join the work of Jemaah Tabligh. Increase in iman is related with the work to call peoples to Allah and not with the number of Muslims we can obtain to join the work of Jemaah Tabligh. In Jemaah Tabligh the work to be done to obtain the outcomes which is the six qualities is not clear. No wonder there is no one who obtain an increase in iman with Jemaah Tabligh because the work to obtain more iman is not clearly explained and being done in Jemaah Tabligh. Jemaah Tabligh asks their followers to makes constant muzakarah on the six qualities so that the desire to obtain the six qualities increases in the heart and mind of the members of Jemaah Tabligh. But what is the actual work to be done to obtain the six qualities is still not clearly understood by Jemaah Tabligh. So, no wonder none is having the six qualities. Many in Jemaah Tabligh believe, to obtain the six qualities all Muslims are required to go out for 4 months or 40 days in the path of Jemaah Tabligh. There are no verses in the Quran and Hadis which mention that to obtain iman a person need to go out for 4 months or 40 days. Where does it comes from? It must be from the Iblis and the syaitan.
