HEALTHY AND EXCELLENT IN SPORTS

Malaysians must be healthy and excellent in sports. How Malaysians can become healthy and excellent in sports? Health is related to lifestyles or behaviors. We cannot get good health with wrong lifestyles. We cannot get good health by only taking medications and leaving behind correct lifestyles. Doctors, drugs, hospitals and nurses cannot give us health. Only Allah can gives us health and Allah has decided to give health only to those who follows correct lifestyles. When we follow wrong lifestyles even we make abundant prayers to Allah to obtain good health, Allah will not give us good health. Allah looks at our heart and our actions. When we have good heart we will have good actions. When we have bad heart we will have wrong actions. When we have wrong actions, we will have diseases and when we have correct actions we will have good health. Health is related to actions or behaviors and action and behaviors are related to the way we believe and think and the way we believe and think is related to our heart and mind. It is commonly said that you are what you believe and think. What you believe and think is related to what you often speak and hear from the day you were born. Words are either medicines or poison to mind and soul. Good and correct words are medicines while wrong and bad words are poisons. Good and correct words repeatedly heard and spoken since childhood will give a good soul and mind. A good soul and mind will lead to good and correct behaviors and correct behaviors will lead to good and healthy body. Malaysians will only have healthy body when they have healthy soul and mind. Malaysians will have healthy soul and mind if since childhood they are hearing and speaking repeatedly good and correct words. With the grace of Almighty Allah I have developed a self-talk therapy which I named it “Anak Bestari “to be used to develop good children. With this therapy the children will lead to good and correct lifestyles in later life. A self-talk therapy for children is known as Anak Bestari and it is to be used from the first day the child is born to the time when the child is at the age of seventeen.

In order to be healthy, Malaysians must have correct lifestyles that include doing good actions, eating good foods, eating and cooking foods correctly and indulge in sports and exercises. When all Malaysians from the first day they were born until the age of seventeen are taking the self-talk therapy, with the grace of Allah they will have good and correct lifestyles. When all Malaysians have correct lifestyles, all Malaysians will have healthy mind, body and soul. The government must make a law to enforce the use of self-talk therapy in children. It should become a part of the requirement to become a good citizen of Malaysia. All children at whatever age until seventeen years old must take the treatment of self-talk therapy minimum once daily. Once in every 3 to 6 months, the children who have undertaken the therapy must visit doctors or nurses in the government hospital, in order to take examination on the therapy. Every visit for the therapy is recorded in a card signed by the doctors and this card will become a testimonial that he or she has taken a self- talk therapy treatments. Whoever has not taken the therapy is regarded as violating the order of the country and considered as not interested to become a good citizen of Malaysia. When such individual is applying for any works, contract, loans, scholarship or anything from the government, he or she will not be favored over those that have taken the therapy. With such rule, government can ensure that all children in Malaysia are taking the therapy and with Allah’s grace, all Malaysian will have correct lifestyles and thus become healthy individuals.

Government should encourage Malaysians above seventeen years old to take the therapy on changing lifestyles. Malaysians particularly those who have been habituated with bad habits such as smoking, drugs abused, gambling, overeating, and alcoholic are highly recommended to take self-talk therapy treatments. Government can allocate certain wards in the government hospitals to treat bad habits and bad behaviors. A person who has bad habits has to undergo vigorous self-talk therapy treatments, strict diets and under strict supervision of doctors and nurses over a period of two to four months of hospitalization. Government as well as the private sectors will have allocation of leaves to those workers who like to take treatments on changing lifestyles or bad habits. All government and private sectors workers will take treatments on changing lifestyles or bad habits with similar charges. Government as well as the private sectors will give leaves to their workers with either full or half payment of salary when they are willing to undergo treatments on changing lifestyles or bad habits. Whoever either in the government or in the private sectors that have undergone treatment on changing lifestyle or bad habits can use the certificate of treatment as an added value in applying for salary increment or promotion. With self-talk therapy treatment, Malaysians can treat their bad behaviors or habits and become people with good lifestyles and healthy individuals.

Current medical treatments on body diseases are asymptomatic, which mean the aim of treatment is only to remove the symptoms. In order to alleviate or remove the symptoms, patients are advised by doctors to continually taking drugs until the day they die. Current medical treatment cannot cure any disease. When doctors are no longer able to remove the symptoms using drugs, doctors will resort to surgery in which certain parts or organs of the body need to be either removed, changed or modified. Certainly Malaysians with correct lifestyles will have good health but not all Malaysians will have good lifestyles or like to undergo treatment on good lifestyles. Although the government may gives incentives to Malaysians who undergo treatment on good lifestyles, but definitely there are still some people in Malaysia who are not willing to change their lifestyles. Those Malaysians who have wrong lifestyles are the people who will become sick and need the asymptomatic treatments using drugs or surgery. Although the method of treatment on bodily diseases using drugs and surgery should be maintained but Malaysian must move slowly and steadily to treatment method of total cure using herbs and nutrition and changing lifestyles. Malaysia must slowly practice the method of treatment using Islamic principles as I have explained previously in my articles, Islamic Medicine.

Medical treatments base on Islamic principles start with the treatment on the bowel and the stomach. The treatment of bowel and stomach is followed with the treatment on the blood and blood vessels. The treatments continue with the treatments of the nerves and brain then finally treatment of glands and organs. Diagnosis of the condition of the bowel, stomach, blood and nerves are done using the science of iridology. Once the glands and the organs related to the diseases resume normal function, the person will be totally cured from the disease. In order for the patients to be continually healthy until they die, they must continue the treatment on behavior therapy or lifestyle change. We can rejuvenate tissues easily before it reaches the degenerative stages. When the tissues have reached degenerative stages, tissues rejuvenation using correct nutrition is difficult. The treatment has to be continued with surgery whereby the organs may need to be removed or modified. Our hospitals are currently practicing conventional medicines but a certain section of our hospital should be allocated to practice Islamic Medicine and the science of iridology. Instead of using drugs, Islamic medicine uses herbs and nutrients tablets, massages and blood cupping and lifestyles change. Study of Islamic medicines should become an option in our medical curriculum. Medical doctors who took this option during their medical training are eligible to practice Islamic medicine and behavior therapy using self-talk therapy in our hospitals. In every area of about two thousands population there will be a clinic cum hospital. In the clinic there will be both conventional and Islamic medical treatments, dentistry, optometry, small medical wards and pharmacy. Every Malaysian will have medical insurance to pay for their medical, dental, ward and optometry expenses. Malaysians with lower income groups, the government will subsidies or pay for their medical insurance while those with incomes above 5 thousands will have to pay their medical insurance with their own money. With the medical insurance, everyone in Malaysia is able to get the same treatments, regardless whether they are rich or poor. The only difference is the rich can have better wards compare to the poor.

Other important part of a correct lifestyle is to be involved in sports and body exercises daily. Malaysian government must provide facilities for sports and body exercises in all housing areas in the whole country. Currently in Malaysia, sport facilities are few and only found in large cities and towns. In villages and outskirt of the cities, sport facilities are almost none. Government must build ten sport centers in every housing estate with the population of ten thousand peoples. In every one thousand population there should be one sport center. Each sport center will be specializing in certain types of sports and cater for the need of one thousand populations. In case there are five sport centers in a certain housing areas of five thousand populations, one center will be for badminton, sepak takraw, and ping pong. The second sport center will be for basketball, volleyball, netball and tennis. The third sport center will be for hockey, football, rugby and athletics. The fourth sports center will be for swimming and aquatic events and the fifth sport centers will be for fencing, judo, taekwondo, heavyweight lifting and wrestling. Other housing areas may be specializing in other sport events. All schools in the areas will shared the sport centers with the communities and with all other schools in the areas. Each school can choose certain sport events that they want their students to be good at and each of the sports centers can be used by rotation between the schools and communities in the areas. Sport competition will be held between all schools in the areas and not only between students of the same schools. Students who are good at sport may choose to continue their studies in special sport school and finally can represent Malaysia at various sport events in the world. In this way, Malaysia will be represented in almost all events contested in major sport events such as Olympic, Asian, and Commonwealth Games. Sport should be under a ministry of its own and headed by a minister who is passionate in sports. Countries that win more medals in such sport events are certainly look by other countries as having healthy and mentally strong citizens. With sports, government can instill patriotic, strong fighting spirit among her citizens and cordial relationship between various races in the country. These qualities are necessary to build a strong, healthy, advanced and progressive Malaysia.
