What has happened to the mighty nation of Mesir? Mesir is the nation which is mentioned in the Quran. Prophet Musa was born in Mesir and once upon a time Mesir was ruled by the mighty Pharaohs. University of Al-Azhar is located in Mesir. Since more than one thousand years ago University Al-Azhar is already existed in Mesir when there were no other universities existed in this world. There are thousands of Muslims scholars and philosophers who have graduated from Al-Azhar University. University Al-Azhar has been the centre of Islamic teaching in the world for more than one thousand years. Now, Mesir is in a tragedy. What is the tragedy which has inflicted the nation of Mesir? The Muslims are killing other Muslims. How such a tragedy could ever take place in the country where there are many Muslims scholars and philosophers. What are the wrong actions of the peoples of Mesir which make such calamities to descend in Mesir? The political problem which is currently faced by the peoples of Mesir is a very serious political problem. Allah gives us problems because of our wrong actions. How could our problems be solved? Our problem could be solved when we do good actions. International communities and the President of the United States of America are not able to solve the political problem of Mesir. The political problems of Mesir can be solved only by the peoples of Mesir?

What are the problems in Mesir? Mesir is currently having the problems of leadership. The current leader of Mesir is not accepted by all the peoples of Mesir and therefore he is not able to unite the peoples of Mesir. The peoples of Mesir are not united under President Muhammad Mursi. The peoples of Mesir are so divided to the extent they are even willing to kill each other. Unfortunately the two groups who are trying to kill each other are Muslims. How to solve our problems? In order to solve our problems we are first to know where are our problems come from? All our problems come from Allah. There is none able to give us problems except Allah. Bad or good only come from Allah. Allah is the One who gives us problems and Allah is the One who solves our problems. What is the rule which is used by Allah in order to give us problems or blessings? We run our country by following rules and similarly Allah also runs this universe by following rules. What is the rule which is used by Allah to give blessing or problems to men in this world? When the actions of men are good, Allah will give men blessings and the solutions to all the problems which are faced by men. When the actions of men are bad, Allah will give men many calamities or problems which men are not able to solve. Now there are many problems in Mesir which the peoples of Mesir are not able to solve. All the problems of Mesir come from Allah and Allah gives problems to Mesir because of the wrong actions of the peoples of Mesir.

What are the wrong actions of the peoples of Mesir? How the peoples of Mesir could ever do wrong actions when there are so many Muslims scholars or ulama in Mesir. Are not the actions of the many thousands of Muslims scholars in Mesir are good? Are not Islamic values known to the Muslims scholars of Mesir? Yes the Muslims scholars in Mesir know Islamic values but they do not have the Islamic values. In other words ,University Al-Azhar is only able to produce Muslims scholars who know about Islamic values but is not able to produce Muslims scholars who have the Islamic values. Islamic universities, madrasah and Islamic schools are able to produce only the Muslims who know about Islamic values but are not able to produce the Muslims who have the Islamic values. Many Muslims are deceived by the fact that Islamic universities, madrasah and Islamic schools are able to produce Muslims with Islamic values, when in reality they are only able to produce Muslims scholars who know about Islamic values but are not able to have the Islamic values. Although there are many Islamic universities, madrasah and Islamic schools in Mesir but all these Islamic institutions are able to produce only the Muslims scholars who know about Islamic values but are not able to have the Islamic values. When there are many Muslims who are without Islamic values in Mesir then there will be many problems in Mesir.

What are the wrong actions of the peoples of Mesir? The majority of the peoples of Mesir are Muslims Sunni. Muslims in Mesir as other Muslim are trying to solve their problems by correcting their situations and not by correcting their iman and actions. Mesir was colonized by the British and later was ruled by King Farouk. At the time of King Farouk there were also many problems in Mesir. At that time there were some Muslims in Mesir who believe that the problems in Mesir will only be solved if Mesir is ruled according to the Islamic laws. In order to be able to rule Mesir with Islamic laws the Muslims in Mesir established the political party in 1920 which is known as Ikhwan Muslimin or Muslims Brotherhood. The first leader of Muslims Brotherhood was Hassan Al-Bana who was a Muslim scholar of Mesir. The main aim of establishing Muslims Brotherhood is to take over the power to rule Mesir from the hand of those Muslims whom Muslims Brotherhood regarded as not the true Muslims. Muslims Brotherhood was established with the aim, to rule Mesir according to the Islamic laws. Hassan Al-Bana was a Muslim scholar who had the vision of establishing Mesir as an Islamic state. The idea of Hassan Al-Bana was also shared by many other Muslims scholars in this world. Among the Muslims scholars who have the same idea were Sheikh Syed Qutub of Mesir, Maulana Maududi of Pakistan, Maulana Hussein Madani of India and Sheikh Bediuzzamman of Turkey.

All these Muslims scholars believe that the problems of the Muslims in this world will only be solved when Muslims countries are ruled according to the Islamic laws. All the above Muslims scholars believe that it is the responsibility of all the Muslims in this world to establish an Islamic country. What is an Islamic country? According to them, an Islamic country is a country which is governed by the rules of Allah which are stated in the Quran. According to them the efforts to establish an Islamic state is known as Jihad and anyone who dies in the effort to establish an Islamic state is a martyr or syuhadah. There are many Muslims scholars and also Muslims in all over the world that follows the idea of Hassan Al-Bana. The most famous Muslims scholars in Malaysia who follow the idea of Hassan AL-Bana are Tuan Guru Nik Aziz and Tuan Guru Haji Hadi Awang. There are also Muslims who are not Islamic scholars but are also the followers of Hassan Al-Bana. Among the most notable follower of Hassan Al-Bana in Malaysia who is not a Muslim scholar is Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim. In my opinion, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim is not the real follower of Hassan Al-Bana because later he did join UMNO and became the Deputy President of UMNO. The true follower of Hassan Al-Bana will never join such political organization as UMNO which make race and not Islam as the basis of their organization.

In my opinion Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim is only a politician similar to Datuk Seri Najib but mistakenly accepted by many Muslims in the world as a good Muslim worker who is working sincerely to establish Islam in Malaysia. Why there are many Muslims who believe Anwar Ibrahim is a good Muslim worker who is working sincerely to establish Islam in Malaysia? They believe Anwar Ibrahim is a good Muslim worker because Anwar Ibrahim was the founder and the first President of Abim. Abim is a Muslim Youth Organization of Malaysia which was established by Anwar Ibrahim. Abim is supposed to be an organization which is similar to Ikhwan Muslimin or Muslims Brotherhood of Mesir. If Anwar Ibrahim is the true follower of Hassan Al-Bana, he should not have joined UMNO because UMNO is a nationalist party. In my opinion when Anwar Ibrahim wanted to join UMNO, Tun Dr Mahathir should not have accepted him as the member of UMNO. In my opinion Tun Dr Mahathir who is supposed to be the most intelligent Prime Minister of Malaysia should have known that Anwar Ibrahim was a liar and not the true Islamic worker as Hassan Al-Bana and Syed Qutub. Unfortunate Anwar Ibrahim was clever than Tun Dr Mahathir and he was able even to deceive Tun Dr Mahathir into the believe that he was the true Islamic worker. In my opinion, the greatest mistake ever done by Tun Dr Mahathir as the Prime minister of Malaysia was to accept Anwar Ibrahim to join UMNO.

With the grace of Allah, Allah gave me the understanding that Anwar Ibrahim is not a true Islamic worker when Anwar joined UMNO in 1981. When Anwar joined UMNO in 1981, Allah gave me the understanding that Anwar Ibrahim is a shrewd politician. Why Anwar join UMNO? Anwar Ibrahim joined UMNO not because he wanted to revitalize UMNO from within but because he wanted to become the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Many people including Tun Dr Mahathir was deceived by Anwar Ibrahim. There are many parties and associations in this world which have the same ideas and principles as the Muslims Brotherhood of Mesir. As for examples, Parti Islam SeMalaysia or PAS, Abim or Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia, Parti Sejahtera of Indonesia, Jamat Islami of Pakistan and Jamat Islami of Bangladesh are parties or associations which have the same ideas and principles as Muslims Brotherhood of Mesir. In my opinion, Hassan Al-Bana was among the most famous Muslims scholars in recent history who believe that it is obligatory or fardu for Muslims to establish an Islamic state. What is an Islamic state? An Islamic state is a country which is ruled by the Islamic laws. In order to execute the idea that it is fardu for Muslims to establish an Islamic state, the Muslims in Mesir under the leadership of Hassan Al-Bana establish Ikhwan Muslimin or Muslims Brotherhood in 1920. The Muslims Brotherhood of Mesir has made many attempts to rule Mesir. Many of their attempts to rule Mesir have failed and many of their leaders and thinkers were jailed and prosecuted or detained without trials by the government of Mesir.

When Gamal Nasir was the President of Mesir, Muslims Brotherhood was barred from entering politics. At the time when Gamal Nasir, Anuar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak become the President of Mesir there were many leaders of Muslims Brotherhood who were tortured, killed or jailed without trials. All the previous President of Mesir feared Muslims Brotherhood will become their political rival in Mesir and because of that Muslims Brotherhood was barred from entering politics. Muslims Brotherhood political activities were suppressed because Gamal Nasir, Anuar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak wanted to make Mesir a secular state while Muslims Brotherhood wanted to make Mesir an Islamic state. Similar situation also exist in Malaysia when UMNO wanted to make Malaysia a secular state while PAS wanted to make Malaysia an Islamic state. Both parties have different objectives and because of that they are antagonizing each other. The members of both parties are all Muslims but they become enemies to each other because they do not have the correct understanding of Islam. Although they have deviated from the correct path but they claimed that they are in the correct path. These are the main problems or dilemma of Muslims in all over the world. Muslims have dilemma because they do not understand the true meaning of the Quran and the Sunnah. They do not have the understanding of the Quran and the Sunnah because they do not do the work of inviting mankind to good and preventing mankind from evils. In my opinion all the followers of Muslims Brotherhood and also the followers of Gamal Nasir, Anuar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak are Muslims but they are Muslims who are deviated from the correct path. All the followers of Muslims Brotherhood and the followers of Gamal Nasir, Anuar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak are Muslims because all of them are reciting the Great Kalimah. In Islam, whoever has recited the Great Kalimah is a Muslim.

Who are better Muslims? There is no one knows who are better Muslims except Allah. In my opinion, Muslims in Muslims Brotherhood and the Muslims who are with Gamal Nasir, Anuar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak are also Muslims who have become deviated from the correct path. They have become deviated from the correct path because they are not doing one of the most important Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad saw. Which of the most important Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad saw they have not done? Both the Muslims who are either with the Muslims Brotherhood or with Gamal Nasir, Anuar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak are not doing the Sunnah of inviting mankind to good and preventing mankind from evils the way done by Prophet Muhammad saw. What is the great mistake made by Muslims Brotherhood, PAS or Jamaat Islami? In my opinion the great mistake which is made by Muslims Brotherhood, PAS, Jamat Islami or Tabligh Jamaat is to regard Muslims who are not with their groups as either Kafir or non-Muslims, secular Muslims or deviated Muslims. In reality even the Muslims who are with Muslims Brotherhood, PAS, Jamat Islami or Tabligh Jamaat are deviated Muslims because as other Muslims they also have not done the Sunnah of inviting mankind to good and preventing mankind from evils as done by the Prophet Muhammad saw. However Muslim who are with Muslims Brotherhood, PAS, Jamat Islami and Tabligh Jamaat think that they are the true Muslims.

The followers of PAS in Malaysia believe that the Muslims who are with UMNO or Muslims who are supporting UMNO are Kafir or non-Muslims. This wrong belief will lead to wrong actions. The Muslims who have this belief are ready even to kill the Muslims who are not supporting their group because they regard the Muslims who are not supporting their group as non-Muslims and therefore the act of killing the non-Muslims who are against Muslims is an act of Jihad and to die on such actions is to die as a martyr. Mesir was originally ruled under a Monarchy system and the last monarch who ruled Mesir was King Farouk. The monarchy system was then replaced by a republic when a coup which was led by Gamal Nasir and supported by Muslims Brotherhood was able to overthrow King Farouk. Gamal Nasir promised Muslims Brotherhood that the power to rule Mesir with be shared with them but the promise was not fulfilled by Gamal Nasir. The coup had made Gamal Nasir to know the true strength and colours of Muslims Brotherhood and its potential to become his competitor in the struggle to win the power to rule Mesir. Gamal Nasir did not want Muslims Brotherhood to share the power with him to rule Mesir because he wanted to make Mesir a secular state. He wanted to exterminate Muslims Brotherhood as his competitor and during the time when Gamal Nasir was the President of Mesir, there were many of the leaders of the Muslims Brotherhood who had been killed or tortured by Gamal Nasir.

The tortures and the killing of the leaders of Muslims Brotherhood continue even to the time of President Anwar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak. Mesir has been ruled by the armies for more than six decades and the armies of Mesir have gained much influence in determining the political landscape of Mesir. When the revolution to overthrow the President of Tunisia had sparked in Tunisia, it has kindled a similar revolution in Mesir and Libya. All the revolutions in Tunisia, Libya and Mesir were aimed at overthrowing the dictators who had ruled their countries for so many decades. With the grace of Allah, the revolutions in Tunisia, Mesir and Libya were successful in overthrowing the dictators. These dictators were elected to become the President of their countries by the so call democratic systems which were designed by them in such a way that the winner of the election will always be the party of the President. In the name of democracy, they deceived the peoples and in this way they tried to maintain the power to rule the countries and to ensure that the power to rule these countries will always remain to be within their families. In reality these countries which were ruled by these dictators were not ruled by a government which was elected via the democratic system. In reality these countries were practicing a monarchy system. The armies in these countries have enjoyed many privileges when these dictators such as Gamal Nasir, Anuar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak were in power. When the peoples of Mesir were successful in overthrowing President Hosni Mubarak, it marked the end of dictatorship rule in Mesir. In 2012, for the first time, Mesir was holding the true general election to select her first President.
