HOW TO DEAL WITH EVILS ACTIVITIES IN ISLAMIC COUNTRIES –PART 2

I am sure there are no licenses being issues in Kelantan to premises, which operate on business of prostitution, but why there are still premises in Kelantan operate on business of prostitutions without license? Dato’ Nik Aziz had also discontinued issuing licenses to premises which operate on business of gambling but I am sure, there are still many premises in Kelantan even without license are operating on businesses of gambling. Dato’ Nik Aziz does not seem to know, on how to prevent evils as shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw? Allah has ordered us to prevent evils by inviting those who do evils to do good. What is an evil and what is good and how to prevent evils, all are being told by Allah in the Quran and shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw. Not issuing licenses to premises, which operate on businesses of evil practices, is not the ways to prevent evils. Evils practices will not be reduced by not issuing licenses. Such actions may even increase evil practices. Evil practice does not depend on license but it depends on the level of iman or belief of a person. Even without having licences, a person with weak iman or with no iman will do evil practices. What is the order of Allah to prevent evil practices? Are issuing licenses and not issuing licenses, related to the order to prevent evils? It is not related and therefore the act of not issuing licenses to premises, which operate on evil practices, is not an act of preventing evils. Therefore, it is not unislamic if we issue licenses to premises, which operate on businesses of evil practices.
How to stop or reduce the evil practices of such as gambling, prostitution, alcoholism, and drug addiction in our society? Whoever wants to do these evil practices will continue to do these evil practices whether with licenses or without licenses. Our main interest or concern is to eliminate or at least to reduce these evils practices. Evildoer does not need license to do evil practices. Evildoers can give bribes to policeman and government officers so that their centers which operate on businesses of evil practices can continue to operate without being disturbed by policemen and government officers. Evildoer does not fear Allah and they do not fear the policemen. Evildoers will do evils even at the expense of their own lives. Because of their evil practices, evildoers are willing to be killed and kill others. In reality, without giving licenses, will give rise to more evil practices, such as gangterism, bribery and killing in the communities. In my opinion, for the interest of the country and community licenses should be given to premises, which operate on businesses of evil practices. The licenses of this kind of businesses must be given easily but the operators of the businesses must abide to certain rules and regulation.
In this way the government can impose very heavy taxes and strict regulations on the centers which operate on businesses of evil practices but whatever money obtained which associate with these evil practices is haram and the government must deposit all these money in a separate account. Also include into this separate account are the money which are from taxes on other businesses which are not allowed in Islam such as, businesses on non Islamic banking system, manufacturing of all foods which are Haram, alcoholic drinks, and products derived from the foods which are Haram. The government should not use this money, which is Haram, to pay the salaries of the government servants, to use it as donations to the poor, or to invest in other businesses. This money should be used only for the purpose of building public utilities such as public toilets, public incinerators for the purpose of disposing public waste or building drains or roads for the public. With this money the government can built good facilities of public utilities.
How to eliminate or at least to reduce these evil practices, such as gambling, prostitutions and so on in our communities? During the time of our Prophet saw, the same evils and probably even more evils than today did exist during the time of Prophet Muhammad saw. However, with the work done by our Prophet Muhammad saw, all the evil practices that existed during that time were finally reduced and disappeared from the Muslim communities of Mecca and Medina. Many are in the opinion that evil practices cannot be eliminated but Prophet Muhammad saw did show to the world that evil practices can be eliminated. Evil practices can only be eliminated, if the Muslims are doing the same work, which had been done by our Prophet Muhammad saw. Our solution to the problem does not lie in our opinions or ideas or with works done according to our ideas or opinions but the solution to our problems lies in our obedience in doing the first order of Allah, which is the work similar to the work done by our Prophet Muhammad saw. The work of our Prophet saw is associated with the right of the Great Kalimah. The work is associated with the right of the Great Kalimah and it is the first order of Allah. What is the first order of Allah given to the Muslims? Allah has given the Muslims the five (5) Rukun Islam and six (6) Rukun Iman. The five Rukun Islam is the basis of Islam and without exception, it is the most important actions, to be done by all Muslims. The five Rukun Islam is in reality the five important actions (amals) to be done by all Muslims. Islam means actions (amals) and Islam means all the orders of Allah which have to be done in the ways of Prophet Muhammad saw. Islam without accepting and following all the orders of Allah in the ways shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw, there will be no Islam.
The five Rukun Islam have to be done as shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw. When Muslims are practicing the five Rukun Islam, as shown by Prophet Muhammad saw, Muslims will obtain an outcome. What is the outcome of practicing the Five Rukun Islam? The main outcome of practicing the Five Rukun Islam is the six (6) Rukun Iman. Once the Muslims have obtained the six (6) Rukun Iman, Allah will give to the Muslims another seven outcomes. What are the other seven outcomes? The other seven outcomes are the derivatives of the six (6) Rukun Iman, which includes ilmu, hikmah, ehsan, ikhlas, ikhtisab, akhlak and sacrifices. When a person does any actions or amals with all the eight (8) outcomes, the actions or amals will become a good actions or amal soleh. Many Muslims do not know that the first Rukun Islam has a right to be fulfilled. Many Muslims do not know that their iman will only become strong when they have fulfilled the right of the first Rukun Islam, which is to invite humankind to good and to forbid humankind from evils. The first Rukun Islam is the most misunderstood Rukun of all the five (5) Rukun Islam but it is the most paramount and the most fundamental Rukun to be observed by all Muslims.
Currently Muslims in all over the world understand that the first Rukun Islam is only to recite the two Kalimah Syahadah. However, what is more important is to do the work, which is associated with the right of the first Rukun Islam. When Muslims are doing the work, which is associated with the right of the Great Kalimah, with the intention to please Allah, until Allah is pleased, Allah will instilled the Great Kalimah into the heart of the Muslims. Once Kalimah Syahadah has entered into a Muslim’s heart, the Muslim has become a believer or in Malay known as beriman. Once a person has become a believer, syaitans will not have any power on him or her. Allah says in the Quran that syaitan or the devils will not be able to seduce the believers because Allah is safeguarding those who are believers from the seduction of the devil or syaitans. Allah says in the Quran; to those who are syirik or associating Allah with others, Allah will make the syaitans to become their friends and advisers and that syaitan is known as Karin. As syaitans are able to seduce those who have not become believers, most of their actions are not sincere. Only when a person has become believer (beriman) their actions become sincere and accepted by Allah. Only when a person has become believers, their solat or prayers are accepted by Allah and only those solat or prayers which are accepted by Allah, are able to prevent the doer of the prayers from evil actions.
Women are not the causes of all evils as understood by the Taliban. Giving licenses to premises, which operate on businesses of evil practices, are not the cause of evils as understood by PAS. Money is not the causes of all evils as understood by many peoples. The causes or the basis of all evils is the love of other than Allah. When men love other than Allah, men will disobey the orders of Allah and the basis of all evils is the love of other than Allah. Love of other than Allah can only be slowly eradicated when men who recite the Great Kalimah start to do the work, which is associated with the right of the Great Kalimah. The basis, or the foundation of all evils is the love of this world or the love of other than Allah or in Malay known as cinta dunia. Because of the love of this world, a person’s heart will be devoid of the love of Allah and the love of the orders of Allah. Once a person’s heart is devoid of the love of Allah, the heart will also be devoid of the love of the orders of Allah. When the heart of a person is devoid of the love of the orders of Allah, that person will start to disobey all the orders of Allah. The order of Allah which is first to be disobeyed by that person will be the first order of Allah. The first order of Allah is not solat but to do the work, which is associated with the right of the Kalimah Syahadah. What is that work associated with the right of the Great Kalimah? It is to invite the whole humankind to good and to forbid the whole humankind from evils. What does it mean by the words; to invite the whole humankind to good? It mean to invite the whole mankind to recite the Great Kalimah; “I bear witness there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah” and also to invite those who have recited the Great Kalimah to obey all the orders of Allah.
What does it mean by the words; to forbid the whole mankind from evils? It means to forbid men from denying the truth, which is to admit that; “There is no God except Allah and Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah” and to prevent those who have recited the Great Kalimah, from disobeying the orders of Allah, particularly from disobeying the first order of Allah. When Muslims do not do the work of inviting humankind to good and forbidding humankind from evils, the Great Kalimah or the love of Allah will not enter into their heart and Muslims will not become believers. When Muslims do not become believers, instead of the love of Allah is in their heart, there will be the love of this world in their hearts. When the love of this world is in the heart of all Muslims, not only the non-Muslims but all Muslims too will do evil actions. When Muslims are only in names and are not believers, their prayers or solat will also be in name and devoid of soul. Such solat, which are devoid of soul, will not be able to prevent Muslims from committing evil actions.
All these following actions cannot prevent either Muslims and non-Muslims from committing evil actions; introducing Hudud law, introducing laws that prevent women from working, introducing laws that prevent women from going out of their houses without purdah or to discontinue giving licenses to premises which operate on businesses associated with evil activities. No laws will be able to stop or prevent men from disobeying the orders of Allah or committing evils activities. Many are not aware that introducing new rules and regulations will not make men to follow the correct or religious paths. Men, who does not believe in Allah (beriman), will not obey the Quran which are the words of Allah, what mores the rules and regulations made by men in the parliaments. It is a waste of time to eradicate evils activities by introducing so many rules and regulations. In order to eradicate evil actions, government should focus on the practices of the Five Rukun Islam and to focus on the efforts to make all Muslims in the country to practice the Five Rukun Islam particularly the First Rukun of the Five Rukun Islam as shown by Prophet Muhammad saw. In order to prevent the whole humankind from evil activities, the whole humankind must have believe or iman in Allah. The whole humankind will not have believe oriman in Allah unless the whole humankind recite the Great Kalimah. Only reciting the Great Kalimah will not make a person to become a believer. In order to become a believer, a person must recite the Great Kalimah and to do the work which is associated with the right of the Great Kalimah. The work which is associated with the right of the Great Kalimah, is in reality is the first order of Allah. The first order of Allah is the work of inviting humankind to good and forbidding humankind from evils. In order to eradicate evil activities in our country, the first order of Allah should become the most important agenda of our government.

‘DICTATORS CAN BRING GOOD’ SAID TUN MAHATHIR

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 18, 2010): Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today if democracy does not work for the betterment of a country, an authoritarian system might be the answer.
“Democracy has failed in many countries. They have failed to deliver what they have promised. In the system of election for example, if you are to insist on 100% support to form a government, you will never have a government – that is why we have to be satisfied with a majority government,” Mahathir said.
Speaking to about 300 people at an international forum here on “The Creation of a Global Citizen: Media Liberalisation and New Political Realities”, he highly commended China for having become the world’s number one economy despite authoritarian rule.

Comparing the Washington Consensus and the Beijing Consensus, Mahathir said China had proven that “having a non-democratic country can also give the people a good life – although once in a while they have to shoot the corrupt people”.
“China has 1.4 billion people – very poor – but by applying the Beijing Consensus, they have become the richest country in the world with US$2.4 trillion (RM7.48 trillion).”
He said the reality in the political world is that there is a contest between the Washington and the Beijing consensus, and “in the long run, the latter might win”.
“We might lose our voice, we might not be able to vote perhaps, but if we can find good leaders to run the country – even dictators can help a country develop very well. There is no democracy in China, but if you look at its progress and even the people, the system of government that they have can actually bring a lot of benefits,” Mahathir said, comparing China to some democracies where the leadership changed frequently, without the country making any progress at all.
Mahathir, Malaysia’s longest-serving prime minister, then quipped: “Malaysia is said to have been ruled by a dictator for 22 years – I enjoyed it – but at least I think it has made some progress.”
He said democracy is a man made thing and “not the perfect thing that it is touted to be”.
The forum, attended by Umno Club chairmen and diplomats, is the first of its kind to be held in conjunction with the Umno annual general assembly which takes place on Thursday. CLICK

DEMOCRACY, MONARCHY AND CALIPHATE – PART 3 : KHALIFAH

CALIPHATE – THE SYSTEM OF CHOICE
Allah has created men and there is no one who created men except Allah. Allah loves men and all His creations. Among all the creations of Allah, man is the best creation. Allah has made men as the best creation and Allah has given men, a way of life. When men practice the orders of Allah, the status of men will be above the angel and when men do not practice the orders of Allah, the status of men will be lower than the animals. In other words, when men live according to the orders of Allah and died with iman, men will be above the animals but when man does not live in accordance to the orders of Allah and died without iman, men will be lower than the animal. Allah had given many orders and the order of Allah includes all the activities of men. Allah had given orders regarding the relationship of men with Allah. Allah has also given orders regarding the relationship of man with another man. Allah has given orders regarding wealth and power and orders on how to use the power and the wealth given by Allah. Allah has ordered men to live in a community and to have a leader to lead the community. Allah has given men the system to choose the leaders of the community. The system is known as Caliphate (also known as Khalifah or Khilafat). When a system to choose leaders is in place, men will be able to live in peace and harmony. Islam means peace. When Muslims are not using the system of Caliphate, there will be no peace and harmony even in those countries known to the world as Muslim countries. Many Muslims are secular in their beliefs, thoughts and actions. Many Muslims are in the opinion that Islam is only limited to the worship of Allah. Regarding all other issues which are not related to Allah, Muslims think they can follow the ways of the non-Muslims. Nowadays none of the Muslim countries is using the Islamic system of Caliphate in choosing their leaders and all the Muslims countries in the world are either using democracy or monarchy.
Because of weak iman, Muslims have misunderstood the Quran. Muslims have not been able to interpret and understand the Quran according to the wishes of Allah and His Prophet Muhammad saw. Even the so called learned scholars of Islam think democracy and monarchy can be practiced by Muslims. Muslims are practicing democracy and monarchy without even knowing that the systems are against the order of Allah. Many think politic is part of Islam and practicing democracy and monarchy are the systems prescribed by Allah. Muslims tend to follow what others do without even questioning whether the systems are the order of Allah or not. Muslims tend to follow what others do blindly. Muslims in all over the world establish political parties with Islamic names and follow the system of democracy. Many Muslims believe to die in the struggle of the so called Islamic parties, is to die as a martyr. Whoever joins the Islamic parties or to lend support to the Islamic parties will gain rewards from Allah. Whoever does not support the struggles of the Islamic parties are infidels. Many Muslims believe only by giving an Islamic name to actions will make the actions to become Islamic. Muslims follow the system of democracy and monarchy in choosing their leaders without knowing that Allah had given to the Muslims a system known as Caliphate. Allah has given so many other systems to the Muslims but Muslims are not practicing the systems given by Allah to them. Muslims in Pakistan name their country the Islamic Republic of Pakistan but the systems use in Pakistan is democracy which is not the system from the Quran. When Muslims are not using the Islamic system, Allah would not give them leaders who are pious and interested in adopting Islamic system in the country and instead Allah will give to the Muslims leaders who are not pious and who love to practice non-Islamic systems in the countries.
What is the system of selecting leaders in Islam? The system of selecting leaders in Islam is based on a very simple principle that the best among the Muslims must be chosen to be the leader of the Muslims. The system of choosing a leader in Islam is the same as the system used in selecting an imam in a prayer. Allah orders us not to choose someone who wants to become a leader to be a leader. A person who wants to become a leader is a person who loves power and wealth and a person who loves power and wealth is not a good person. Love of power and wealth is the basis of all evils. A person who loves to become a leader cannot be appointed as a leader because he or she is a person who has a potential to become a leader who will do many evil actions to the Muslims. A person who loves to become a Prime Minister cannot be made a Prime Minister. When the love of Allah increases in one’s heart, the love of other than Allah will decrease. A believer is a person who has the love of Allah more than the love of others in his heart. Prophet Muhammad saw is the only person who has in his heart only the love of Allah. Muslims must appoint the best to become their leaders and the best Muslims is the one when compare to other Muslims at a certain time, have the most love towards Allah in his heart. A person who has the most love towards Allah in his heart would not like to become a leader, unless the leadership is forced upon him.
Abu Bakar r.a is a person who does not want to become a leader. He used to advise someone before he was appointed as a Caliph that he should not become a leader even for two persons. When Abu Bakar r.a was appointed as the Caliph or the leader of the Muslims, that person came to Abu Bakar r.a and asked him; you used to advise me not to become a leader even for two persons, but now you are not only become the leader for two persons but the leader for the whole Muslims. Abu Bakar r.a answered; the position as a Caliph has been forced upon me. When the people of Ansar were trying to appoint a separate leader for them, Abu Bakar r.a and Omar r.a went hurriedly to the people of Ansar and persuaded them not to appoint a separate leader for them. Abu Bakar r.a told the Ansar that at any time there should be only one leader or Caliph for the Muslims. Abu Bakar r.a also told to the people of Ansar that he heard from Prophet Muhammad saw that the leader of the Muslims should be from the people of Muhajirin (those who have migrated to Madinah, leaving behind all their wealth in Mecca, with the intention only to please Allah). Abu Bakar r.a told the Ansar that they may choose from the two Muhajirs who were with him at that time; Umar Khatab r.a or Ubaidah Ibn Jar‘rah r.a to become the leader for all the Muslims. When Umar r.a heard his name was mentioned by Abu Bakar r.a as the candidate for the leader of all Muslims, Umar r.a immediately holds the hand of Abu Bakar r.a and declare his allegiance to Abu Bakar r.a and his action was followed by all the people of Ansar, and Abu Bakar r.a was officially elected as the first Caliph of all Muslims.
Umar r.a also does not want to become a Caliph. Umar r.a said; ” I could not imagine that I became the leader for all Muslims when Abu Bakar r.a was still alived”. Umar r.a knows that Abu Bakar r.a was the first man to become Muslim and he was the companion of the Prophet Muhammad saw during the Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad saw to Medina. When compared to all the other companions of the Prophet Muhammad saw, Abu Bakar r.a was always leading in good deeds. It was clear to all the Muslims at that time the best Muslim was Abu Bakar r.a. Umar r.a testified it and he personally said that during many occasions he was trying to overtake Abu Bakar r.a in good deeds but he had failed to do so. Abu Bakar r.a was the best Muslims and all the Muslims at that time unanimously selected Abu Bakar r.a as the first Caliph of Islam. The best become the leader is the basic principle in selecting a leader in Islam. Abu Bakar r.a was chosen as the Caliph because he was at that time the best Muslim.
It is a very simple and logical way to choose a leader. The leader of the Muslims should be the best Muslims available at a particular time. Who should decide who the best Muslim is? In democracy, the peoples choose the leaders and in monarchy, the previous King decides the leader. In islam, it is done by a chosen committee of pious personalities as done by Umar r.a- Prophet Muhammad saw said in the approximate meaning; if there is a prophet after me, he would be Umar Al-Khatab r.a. The chosen committee will finally agree unanimously that this particular person is the best Muslims and should be made the leader of the Muslims. The committee leads by a leader. In case of deadlock where the number of persons in the committee who agree and disagree to the proposal are equal, then the decision are made based on which side the leader is in. Umar Al-Khatab r.a selected six pious persons and the leader of the committee was Abdul Rahman Auf r.a. Everyone in the committee unanimously agrees that Uthman r.a was the best person among them and should be made the Caliph of the Muslims. Umar r.a told them that when the decision had been reached everyone must agree with the decision. In case after a decision had been made, there were some peoples in the committee who still do not agree to the decision, then Umar r.a advised the committee to kill those persons at that very place where the meeting was taken place. Islam is a very simple religion and has very simple and logical systems to choose leaders. The system is so simple and so logical, which does not require many expenses as in democracy and monarchy system.
The purpose of life of a Muslim is not to have power and wealth. Allah has never ordered men to work in order to gain power or wealth but Allah has ordered men to work in order to earn men’s needs. The purpose of life a Muslim is to gain the love of Allah. Allah gives wealth and power to whoever Allah wants and there is no relationship between work and power or between work and wealth. There is no one who can give wealth except Allah and there is no one who can give power or wealth except Allah. Power and wealth are not indications of success. Allah gives power and wealth in order to know who among men are good in actions. When we obey Allah in all situations, Allah will make us successful. Islam is based on a very simple principle that men’s success and failure depends only on the actions of men and not on power or wealth. Our life is simple and Islam teaches us a very simple system of choosing our leaders but our desire for power and wealth has made our life complicated and sophisticated. We should not worry or become unhappy in case Allah has made us poor and similarly we should not become so proud in case Allah has made us rich and powerful. Many men, instead of working only to earn their needs, they work in order to become rich and powerful. The main work of Muslims is to invite peoples to Allah and to obey Allah with the intention to please Allah until Allah is pleased with us.
I would say that all politicians in this world are in the wrong path of life. In Islam there is no politic because politic is the path of those who want to earn power and wealth. Administration of the country according to the orders of Allah is not politic; it is part of the orders of Allah. Politic is the science of securing power in a democratic country. If politic is to earn more seats in the parliament or to gain power then it is not the order of Allah and it is not Islamic. Politic is the way of life of those who does not want Allah. Simply giving the name to any political party an Islamic name does not make the party Islamic. Islam is not names or words but Islam is actions. When we do actions because it is the order of Allah and to please only Allah, it is Islamic .When we do actions which are not the orders of Allah even with the intention to please Allah, it would not become Islamic. There is no politic in Islam (to work in order to have more seats in the parliaments) and Allah does not order us to gain power or to have seats in the parliament. Both democracy and monarchy are not Islamic systems and we can never make the systems Islamic even if give the system an Islamic name. We are not Islamic if we practice democracy or monarchy. When Muslims are embracing the system of democracy or monarchy in selecting their leaders, Muslims will have problems and calamities. In order to avoid problems we need to use the Islamic system, known as the system of Caliphate. When Muslims are using the system of Caliphate in choosing leaders, Allah will be pleased with the Muslims and when Allah is pleased with Muslims, Allah will not give us problems and calamities to the Muslims in this world and hereafter.

DEMOCRACY, MONARCHY AND CALIPHATE – PART 2

MONARCHY
Monarchy is a system in which the hierarchies of power remain within a certain families, cronies or parties. As explained previously in the last article of mine on similar topic, the system of democracy was initially developed in order to avoid power to remain within only a certain families, cronies or parties. However due to manipulation, the system of democracy slowly turn to become the system of monarchy. Democracy allows everyone to become a leader provided he or she obtains the majority votes in an election. However, there are certain cases where the power goes to only certain individuals of the same families, cronies or parties. When power goes only to individuals from the same families, parties or cronies, the system is no longer democracy but monarchy. Monarchy is the oldest system used by mankind to select their leaders. In monarchy, when a king died, the power to rule the country automatically goes to the eldest son or daughter of the king. In some monarchial system, when the king died, the power must goes only to his son and not to his daughter but in some cases the power can also goes either to the son or daughter. In other cases, when the king has no children the power usually goes to the brother of the king. Whatever it is, monarchy means, the power to rule the country only goes to one family, and no other individual outside the family can become the rulers of the country.
As mentioned previously in my article of similar topic, it is the natural inclination of all men to love power and wealth. Power and wealth seem to be inseparable and men want power because with power men will also obtain wealth. It is said in a Hadis that if a man is given a valley of gold, he would want another valley of gold. Men’s thirst for power and wealth will never end until men died. Until a man died, his thirst for power and wealth will never be satisfied. Desire for power and wealth is with men, since the day man was created by Allah. Both Adam and Hawa were in paradise. Both of them were living in a place of extreme luxury without limit. Paradise is a place where men’s desire can be fully satisfied yet even in such a place, Iblis was successful in seducing both Adam and Hawa into disobedience to the orders of Allah. Allah had forbidden both Adam and Hawa from eating the fruits of a tree in paradise known as forbidden tree. Iblis was able to seduce Hawa. Iblis told Hawa to eat the fruits of the forbidden tress, if she wanted to remain in paradise forever. Hawa succumbed to the invitation of Iblis because she wanted to live in paradise forever with her husband. Hawa was able to seduce Adam into eating the fruits of the forbidden trees, which was not allowed by Allah. Even though, Adam knows that he was not allowed by Allah to eats the fruits yet his love for his wife and luxurious lifestyle had tempted him into following the invitation of his wife. Because of men’s love to wealth and power, men are tempted to disobey the orders of Allah.
As mentioned earlier, it is men’s nature to love luxurious lifestyle and it is the natural desire of all men to love power and wealth. Men believe with power, men would be able to obtain wealth and with wealth men would be able to lead a luxurious lifestyle. Men love for power and love to maintain power within the circles of his families lead to the emergence of monarchy. Monarchy is the oldest system used by men to choose leaders in their societies. Almost all ancient civilizations use monarchical system in choosing their leaders. The ancient Romans were the first ancient civilization that used the system of democracy in choosing their leaders. Monarchical system of choosing leaders developed because of men’s basic nature to love power and wealth. Monarchical system of choosing a leader was developed by men and all the systems developed by men are influenced by men’s own weaknesses. The greatest weakness of men is that; all men love power and wealth but the love of power and wealth is the foundation of all evils. Allah does not want men to love power and wealth and Allah has never ordered men to love power and wealth. Allah ordered men to love Allah more than to love other than Allah. Allah has never ordered men to work on gaining power or wealth. Allah has ordered man to work, when men have needs such as foods, accommodation, transport and clothes to be fulfilled. Men do not need power in order to live. Power is not the men’s need. When men’s needs are fulfilled, there is no obligation for men to work to earn his needs. The main work of men is not to earn his needs but to gain the pleasure of Allah by calling other men to recognize, to love and to obey the orders of Allah.
Power and wealth are not necessities or needs to men. Foods, houses, clothes, companions and transports are necessities or needs to men. Although it is not the work that fulfills the needs of men, but when men have needs to be fulfilled, Allah orders men to work to earn his needs and also to make doa to Allah. Allah forbids men to ask for his needs from other men or only to make doa and not willing to work to earn his needs. Allah orders men to work to earn his needs as well as to make doa to Allah. When Allah gives men abundant wealth, Allah orders men to gives part of the wealth to the poor. Allah has never ordered us to become rich or poor. Rich or poor is only test from Allah. A person who is rich and powerful is not a sign that he or she is a successful person and a person who is poor and weak is not a sign that he or she is unsuccessful. Success or failure depends only on whether we are obeying or disobeying the orders of Allah. Allah will make us a successful person when we obey the orders of Allah with the intention to please Allah until Allah is pleased. Whether we are poor or rich if we continue to obey the orders of Allah in all situations, Allah will make us successful. Allah does not order us to become rich or powerful. Most politicians want to have power and to become rich as the millionaires. Many Muslims do not know that when Muslims have in their heart the desire to have power and wealth there are not obeying the order of Allah. Our aim or purpose of life is not to become rich or poor, or to become man with power or man without power but our main aim and purpose in life is to love Allah until we become the lover of Allah. Allah said in a Hadis Qudsi; make Me (Allah) as your aim in life, make Me (Allah) as the purpose of your life and make Me (Allah) as your lover, if you have Me (Allah) you will have everything.
Monarchy is a result of men’s lust for power and wealth. All the monarchs of the world either in the past or current times live in a luxurious lifestyles. All monarchs of the world live in large palaces with so many workers to help them to maintain the palaces. All the palaces are well decorated with various types of paintings and would have so many rooms and in some palaces the rooms may even reach to a thousand. All palaces would have hundreds of bathrooms and toilets and usually there are many beautiful water fountains and gardens with various types of beautiful flowers around the palaces. All the ladies monarchs of the world wear expensive and beautiful dresses, shoes, undergarments and decorated their bodies with diamonds and gold. All monarchs of the world eat foods of highest quality. They are driven in expensive cars and are able to tour the world in such a grandeur manner. With such a luxurious lifestyle, who does not want to become a monarch? And who does not want their children to become a monarch too? When the children become monarch, they would be able to lead a luxurious lifestyle similar to their parents. It is the desire of all men to live like the monarch of the world, and it is also the desire of all the monarchs of the world to have their children to become a monarch too. This is the reason why monarchy had remained with mankind for a very longtime and even to those who are practicing democracy, are trying to turn it to monarchy.
Most monarchs failed to fulfill their responsibilities as rulers, because since ancient times until today are busy enjoying themselves with the luxury of the world. When most monarchs of the world failed to deliver their responsibilities as rulers, it leads to social unrest which finally leads to the revolt of the peoples against the monarch. One of the famous people’s revolutions of the world, known as French Revolution, was a revolution of the French peoples, in overthrowing the monarch of France. Since the French revolution, there were many monarchs who had been overthrown by their peoples. Many monarchs of Indonesia were overthrown when Indonesia gains independence from the Dutch. Recently the system of monarchy in Nepal was replaced by the system of democracy. With the advancement of technology and communication in the world, the system of monarchy failed to remain relevant in the world. Many monarchs were being overthrown and loose their executive power. In order to avoid being overthrown by the peoples, many monarchs choose to loose their executive power but not their luxurious lifestyle. Now the system of monarchy is no longer relevant in the modern world and the role of many monarchs of the world is mainly ceremonial. As for example the monarchs of Malaysia and Great Britain are mainly use for ceremonial purposes. Now there are very few monarchs who are still having the executive power and one of them is the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam.
Generally most countries which are ruled by monarchical system are less developed compare to countries which are ruled by the system of democracy. Many monarchs are now accepting the fact that the system of monarchy is no longer relevant in modern times. When the hierarchy of power only runs within a certain family, the system will not be able to recruit other personalities with far better qualities to become the ruler of the country. The first person who becomes the ruler must have been a person with good qualities, otherwise he will not be appointed to become the ruler of the country. When the son inherits the power he may or may not have the same good qualities as his father. In the system of monarchy the power to rule can easily goes to a person with bad qualities. According to monarchical system, to have leaders with good qualities is not important and what is important is the son must inherit the power to rule the country. Whether the son has good quality or not is secondary. In other words monarchical system is not in accordance to the orders of Allah. Allah orders the Muslims to choose the best among them to become the ruler of Muslims. The system of choosing a leader in Islam is the same as the way Allah told the Muslims to choose their imam in a congregational prayer. How do we choose someone to become our imam in solat with congregation? Allah orders us to appoint the best from among those who pray to become the imam of the congregational prayer. Similarly the best from among all the Muslims in a country must be chosen to become the leader of the country. Who is the best among the Muslims? The best among the Muslims is the one with the most taqwa and taqwa can be attained when a person fulfills the right of the Great Kalimah, and the right of the Great Kalimah is to invite men to good and to forbid men from evil.
Monarchical system of selecting a leader is not an Islamic system. The system was developed as a result of men’s love towards power and wealth. In monarchical system, there is no general election as in democracy to select leaders. Power is inherited and given to a person because he is the son of a leader. Such system is no longer relevant in modern times. Monarchical system may work during ancient times but it is no longer relevant in modern times. In monarchy, there is no constancy in the quality of the leader that rules the country. A son, who inherits the power from his father, could be a good leader or he could be the worst leader. What would happen to the country when the ruler is the worst leader? Because monarchy and democracy are not an Islamic system, the system does not work at all time. The systems may work at certain times or to a certain communities only. As for example, democracy may work in a highly literate communities but it fail deliberately in illiterate communities. On the other hand, Islamic system of Caliphate works at all time and at all type of communities, because it is the system given by Allah to the whole mankind. However men refuse to use the system because it is against men’s desire to have power and wealth. It works in all communities but it works very well in the communities with many men have become believers and their desire are only to obtain the love of Allah.

DEMOCRACY, MONARCHY AND CALIPHATE – PART 1

DEMOCRACY
Democracy, Monarchy and Caliphate are systems which are used by men to select from among themselves, their leaders. Democracy is a system which was developed and used by the ancient Romans to choose their leaders. In order to become a leader in a democratic country, majority of the peoples must votes for him or her to become their leader. It is natural that a person will vote for someone he or she likes to become his or her leader. In democratic system, a person who wants to become a leader must express his or her desires to become a leader by standing for an election. Everyone in a democratic country has the right to vote or not or to stand for an election. In case there is only one person who wants to become a leader and willing to stand for the election, he or she will automatically wins the election and become the leader of the community. When there are two persons who wish to become the leader, the one that wins the majority votes will become the leader. Irrespective whether that person who wins the majority votes is qualified or not to become a leader, is not important in a democratic system. Whoever wins the majority votes even by only one vote will become the leader in a democratic system. In other words, in democracy the truth and the best are decided by the majority and the main principle in democracy is; majority rules. Majority rules are a principle in democracy, which is entirely against Islam and the Quran. In Islam, the truth is the Quran and one can only rules with the laws of the Quran. Majority is the main icon in democracy and to become a leader in democratic countries, a person needs to become popular in the society.
The more popular a person is, in democratic countries, the better chance he or she stands to become a leader. Many famous actors, actress and artists in democratic countries turn to become politicians and later on become the leader of their countries. Irrespective whether a person has or has not the quality of a leader, the one who obtain the majority of votes in democratic countries will become a leader. Democracy is directly opposite to the Islamic system in choosing a leader. In Islam, we are not allowed to choose someone to become a leader, who has in his heart a wish to become a leader. In democracy we are choosing leaders from among those who want to become leaders and willing to contest between each other to become a leader. Democracy places the voices of the majority as the basis to choose a leader while in Islam base on the qualities of the person and not on majority as in democracy. In democracy a person who wants to become a leader must convince others to votes for him or her to become a leader. In order to convince others to vote for him or her, he or she must give promises to the people, such as, that he or she or the party will be able to give them almost anything they want in case she or he or the party wins the election. In Islam this is strictly forbidden. Allah has ordered us to love Allah and not power and wealth. Allah forbids us to love power and wealth more than to love Allah. Allah has ordered us to make Allah as our lover, as our objective and as our goal and not power and wealth as the objective and goal of our life. There is no one who can give promises to the peoples other than Allah. When we give promises to peoples, we are trying to become God to the peoples and this is strictly non-Islamic.
In democracy, leaders are selected on the basis on how many people like them to become leaders. The more peoples who like him or her to become a leader, the more chances that the person in a democratic system to be chosen as a leader. In democracy, the decision to choose someone to become a leader is on the hand of the majority but in Islam the decision to choose someone to become a leader is on the hand of the leader of a group who has been assigned to choose the leader. In democracy, the person who wins the majority of votes is regarded as the most suitable person to become the leader and each person in a democratic system carries only one vote irrespective whether that person is an intellectual or an ordinary person. When the majority of the peoples vote for a person to become a leader, he or she will automatically become the leader of the country. In other word in democratic system, the majority rules, and that is the reason why Anwar Ibrahim says in Malay; “Suara rakyat, suara keramat”. When a person who stand for an election, can convince the majority of the voters that he or she is good, he or she will has the greater chance to obtain majority votes and to become the leader of the country. In democratic system, it is not the quality of the leader that become the determining factor in selecting a leader, but the ability of the person to convince others that he or she is good. A person who can deliver convincing speeches to the public is the person most likely in democratic system to be chosen as a leader. In order to convince others that a person is suitable to be chosen as a leader, another quality required in democratic system is the ability to portray a good image.
All of us know that a person who can portray a good image does not necessarily a good person. In order to become a leader in a democratic country, one need to portray a good personal image and the party that he or she belongs and this is extremely important in securing power. In democratic countries the political parties need to spend millions of dollars in trying to potray a good image of their candidates who are contesting in any elections and spend millions of dollars in trying to potray a bad image of their opponents. In order to portray good images, all political parties in democratic countries have their own newspaper, and all the news in the newspaper are aiming in portraying good images of their candidates . In order to remain in power, most parties which rules in a democratic country will use all the available media in the country to portray their parties’ good image. In democracy, power to decide who should rule lies in the hands of the majority and the majority will choose the party that portrays good images. In order to portray good images of their leaders, newspaper own by the particular political parties will only published stories that will upgrade the good images of their leaders and would not published stories that will degrade their images. In the system of democracy, a person will not be able to become a leader, unless he or she wishes to become a leader and be a member of a particular political party. In democratic system a person who is having a very good quality as a leader, but he does not wish to become a leader and he does not join any political party, he will never be able to be elected as a leader.
In order to become leaders in countries that practice democracy, a person must convince the peoples that he or she is a person of good quality and in case he or she is chosen to become the leader, he or she will be able to accomplish all the wishes of the peoples. In other words in democratic system a person who wants to become a leader, he or she must be able to act as a God to them, who is able to solve all their problems and to bring them to everlasting happiness. In order to win an election in a democratic system a candidate of an election must makes many election promises. The more promises the candidates can give, the more popular the candidate will become. The more popular the candidate is the more chances the candidate will be chosen as a leader. In order to rule a country in a democratic system, the party must have majority seats in the parliament. All political parties in democratic countries want to have more seats in the parliament. The party that has more seats in the parliament will rule the country. Laws are passed by the parliament in democratic countries. Laws are pass according to the wishes of the majority. In democratic countries, laws are made according to the opinion of the majority of the parliamentarians. In democratic system, the party that has two third (2/3) majority in the parliament will be able to made laws according to the wishes of the party. This is against Islam, as in Islam laws are from the Quran and Sunnah and the basis of all laws being formulated in Islamic countries must come from the Quran and Sunnah.
Democracy gives the power to choose leaders and to pass laws in the parliament to the peoples. In democracy the wishes of the majority of the peoples will determine the leaders and the laws of the country as Anwar Ibrahim often says in Malay; ” Kuasa ditangan rakyat, suara rakyat suara keramat”. In Islam, the wishes of Allah will determine the leader and the laws of the country. Anwar believes in democracy and Anwar wants to portray his image as a good leader but Umno and Barisan National would not let Anwar to have the image of a good leader. All the weaknesses of Anwar will be revealed in the newspapers, radio and television channels own by UMNO and BN, and because of that Anwar will be having a very hard time trying to portray his image as a good leader. Anwar on the other hand will use all other means available to portray his good image and to tarnish the image of Dato Seri Najib, the president of the ruling party. The ruling party will make promises to the peoples and Anwar on the other hand will make better promises than the ruling party. The ruling party will try to discredit all the promises made by Anwar. Whoever read newspapers belong to the ruling party, will be influenced by the stories that meant primarily to upgrade the images of the government and whoever read the newspapers own by the opposition parties will be influenced by the stories that meant primarily to upgrade the image of the opposition parties. Newspapers, radio and television plays a very important role in portraying good images of leaders and parties in countries that practice democracy. However with the introduction of internet, when news can no longer be the ownership of only the ruling parties, the task of portraying good images of politicians has become more difficult to accomplish.
With internet, the world has entered an era where there is no border to the spread news. The world has becomes borderless. With internet there is no limit to the sources of news. With the introduction of internet, all peoples are able to know the truth, which previously were kept as secrets by some peoples who are interested in maintaining power. With internet, peoples can read news from newspaper in the internet owns by independent bodies and with internet, peoples can write about anything they like and spread it all over the world. With internet, many can read the other side of the stories and know about the real truth by reading many blogs in the internet. With internet, either good or bad news can spread all over the world in matters of minutes. Governments in the so call democratic countries in this world can no longer portray themselves as good, because all the news whether bad or good about the government can be read by all the peoples in all over the world on the internet.
Many governments in the Arab countries claim to be practicing democracy. In reality they are not practicing democracy but monarchy. In order to show to the world, that they are democratic they pretend to hold general elections but the result of the general election is already known to them. They hold general elections but they will make sure the winner of the general election is their own party which is currently in power. In the name of democracy some of these governments had ruled the countries for more than 30 to 40 years. In democratic system, the power lies in the hands of the peoples and many governments had manipulated the system in order to remain in power. In democracy, the more seats the party wins in the general elections, the more powerful the party becomes and the party that wins the majority seats in the parliament will rule the country. In democracy, the wishes of the peoples are translated in the form of ballot papers. Each ballot paper represents the wishes of each individual in a democratic society. In order to know which party wins, they counts the number of ballot papers and the party which has the majority of the ballot papers will win the election.
Counting ballot papers as a method to determine which party wins in an election is a very weak system and can easily be manipulated. Ballot papers can be changed or altered according to the wishes of the government which is in power. Which government does not want to win an election and to remain in power? None of the government in the world wants to lose an election, which mean to lose power. Government in power will try to remain in power. They will do whatever it takes to remain in power. In democratic system which uses the counting of the ballot papers as a mean to know which party wins, can easily be manipulated by the government in power. Government in power can increase the number of ballot papers on the government side and decreases the number of ballot papers on the side of the opposition. Basically all men, love power and material wealth. Democratic system of selecting leaders is a weak system and highly prone to manipulations of those who are in power. I would say with certainty that the result of all the previous general elections in the so call democratic countries in the Arab world is a manipulated result. In case all the governments in all the Arabs countries win the election by such a large majority, why there is an Arab spring in all the Arab countries? Democracy is a system developed by men and it is full with weaknesses. The results of the elections conducted using the democratic system can easily be manipulated by those men who love power and love to maintain power within their cronies, party or families.
Allah says in the Quran that men love power and material wealth. Because of power and wealth men are willing to do anything. Men love power and love to maintain power within their clans, cronies, parties or families. Democratic system can easily be manipulated by those who want power to be maintained within their clans, parties and families. As for an example, power to rule India, has remained basically in only one family, known as Ghandi. Nehru Ghandi started the hierarchy of power by becoming the first Prime Minister of India after independence. After the death of Nehru Ghandi the power was passed down to his daughter, Indra Ghandi who was in power for more than a decade. Later on, the power was snatched by the BJP but return back to the family of Ghandi, when Rajiv Ghandi became the Prime Minister of India. Now India is ruled by the Congress party headed by the wife of Rajiv Ghandi, Sonia Ghandi. Sonia is planning to pass down the power to her son by the name Ruhul Ghandi. India is supposed to be a country with the largest population in the world that practice democracy. Although India is supposed to practice democracy in selecting their leaders but due to human weaknesses, men manipulate the system of democracy and turn the system into the system of monarchy. A monarchy is a system of selecting leaders only from within a certain family or clans or parties.
One other example is in so call democratic country of Bangladesh. In Bangladesh, basically there are only two families that determine the hierarchy of power. One family belongs to Hasenah Wajid the daughter of the late Mujibulrahman, the father of Bangladesh and the other family belongs to Khalidah Zia the wife of one of the late President of Bangladesh by the name of General Zia. Bangladesh is supposed to practice a democratic system in selecting their leaders but in reality the leaders in Bangladesh can only comes from so call the two royal families of Bangladesh. Although the system supposes to be a democratic system but it has slowly turned to become a monarchy system. One other example is in Malaysia which supposes to be practicing democracy. In Malaysia, the power to rule the country in the last 56 years remain with the members of only one party, known as UMNO. In reality Malaysia is practicing monarchial system in selecting leaders and not democracy. Suharto, Ghadafi and Hosni Mubarak remain in power for a very long time in the so call democratic countries which in reality are practicing monarchy.

BERSIH 3.0

The Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (in malay called Gabungan Pilihanraya BERSIH dan Adil) or BERSIH (meaning clean in Malay) is a coalition of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and was supported by Pakatan Rakyat. The leader of BERSIH, Ambiga Sreevenasan initially said the main aim of BERSIH demonstration is to call for free and fair elections in Malaysia. In other words, no previous elections in Malaysia were fair and clean. Is it true? Although there are no clear evidences to suggest that all the previous elections in Malaysia are not fair and clean, but definitely all those peoples who previously are involved in the general election certainly know whether our general election is conducted in a fair and clean manner or otherwise. As a nation, we are about fifty-five years old and during those times, we had several general elections and the bloodiest one is in 1969. In all the previous general election, Barisan had won and ruled our country. Anwar Ibrahim was once among the supreme leader of Barisan National and I am sure he is one of those who know whether our previous elections were conducted in clean and fair or otherwise. Why Anwar and Ambiga use street demonstration and not negotiation to solve the problem? As long as I know, Anwar had used street demonstration even when he was a student leader in University Malaya and the leader of Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia (ABIM). Now at the age of sixty-five, Anwar still uses the same method to pressure the government. Anwar knew the method works. The only time there is no street demonstration in Malaysia is when Anwar Ibrahim was with the ruling government and when he was in Sungai Buloh Prison. I would say as long as Anwar is not with the government or in prison, there will always be a street demonstration in Malaysia. Anwar is the Guru of street demonstration in Malaysia. What Anwar wants to achieve with street demonstration? With street demonstration, Anwar wants to tarnish whatever good image of the ruling government and Anwar wants to paint the image of cruelty and injustice to the ruling government. When there are crowds of thousand of peoples and with no proper control by the organizer, surely they are some who will not follow the instructions of the police. When the police start to fire tear gas towards the demonstrators, certainly it gives the image to Malaysians and international communities that Malaysian’s government does not allow freedom of speech to her peoples. Once the image of cruelty and injustice are painted to the ruling government the purpose of BERSIH demonstration is achieved.
Dato Seri Najib and Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi are not clever enough to understand what Anwar wants. It is simple. Anwar wants power and wealth. Anwar does not want justice to the people as he often said in his speeches. Anwar knows how to give speeches that will make all his audiences to believe that he is a good man. Anwar names his party as Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), which means a party that works towards justice. It is all nonsense and it is only words to deceive peoples. Even within the Parti Keadilan Rakyat there is no justice (keadilan). Surprisingly many believe in him, follow him and take him as their leader in the struggle for justice. Everyone wants justice and justice is a noble word owns only by a noble person and can only be discharged by a true and noble Muslim. Is Anwar a true Muslim and a noble person? His talks are good and noble but Anwar is not a true Muslim and not a noble person. Tun Dr Mahathir knew what Anwar wants and Tun also knew, as long as Anwar does not get what he wants, that is power and wealth, Anwar will continue to cause chaos and instability in the country. When Tun Dr Mahathir took him inside the government and gave him power and wealth, Malaysia was at peace for nearly nineteen years. Anwar does not stop with only power and wealth; he also wants to have sex with as many women, including the wife’s of other men and men as he could. He was put on trial in court for sodomy and corruption and finally he was sentenced to jail for about six years.
When Anwar was jailed for six years, Malaysia was also at peace. During the time of Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Anwar was released from the jail and with his fiery and captivating speeches; he again started the movement to create chaos and instability in Malaysia. Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi believed that Anwar was the victim of political conspiracy of Tun Mahathir Muhammad and Tun Abdullah had great sympathy towards Anwar, the great actor and liar. Anwar is not a true Muslims but he acts as one. By joining UMNO did not make him a better person. With power and wealth, the actor Anwar turns out to become worse than when he was with ABIM. Initially Tun Dr Mahathir truly believed that Anwar is a good Muslim and took him into the government with the hopes that Anwar will help him to move Malaysia towards Islamisation. Anwar acting did not last long. No matter how hard Anwar wanted to conceal his wrong actions, Allah revealed Anwar’s true colours to the public and to Tun Dr Mahathir. Anwar did not admit his wrong sexual acts and instead he blamed UMNO and Tun Dr Mahathir for making a conspiracy towards him. Many believe that Anwar was the victim of political conspiracy of UMNO and Tun Dr Mahathir and he gained overwhelming sympathy from the peoples either inside or outside the country.
Anwar uses the same strategy; he organizes BERSIH and uses Ambiga as a scapegoat. With BERSIH he wants to gains public sympathy towards him and Pakatan Rakyat. Najib and Hishammuddin did not know this and started to use the police to control the crowd of BERSIH 1.0 to 3.0. In BERSIH 3.0, it was reported that the crowds went against the police instruction, only when their leaders Anwar and Azmin gave them orders to ignore police instruction. Anwar gave the instruction to Azmin who in turn gave instruction to the crowd to break the police barricade and to occupy Dataran Merdeka. Since Anwar’s younger days he always went against the police orders. Anwar knew, unless he went against the police orders, chaos and tyranny cannot be created. What Anwar wants is only to create chaos and tyranny and to print the image of cruelty and tyranny to the ruling government. In my opinion, in order to counter Anwar, we should ignore BERSIH and we should not employ police to control BERSIH. Government must not give any important to BERSIH. On the other hand, Malaysian government must invite the leaders of the opposition parties for discussion on their demands for a fair and clean election. Najib, Muhyiddin, Anwar, Ambiga and Nik Aziz must all be in the discussion. It should be made clear to the world that everything in Malaysia can be solved by negotiation and not by street demonstration. Our government must be humbled and nice toward the opposition parties and ready to solve the problem amicably. We must not let Anwar to use any of our weaknesses as a means for him to create havoc and instability in the country.
BERSIH is not the way to solve our country problems or any other problems in this world. BERSIH is a rally or gathering of peoples, trying to demonstrate their grievances to the authorities by displaying banners and chanting words of their demands. Anwar and other opposition leaders call the gathering as BERSIH, which carry the demand that the election must be fair and clean. Opposition parties will continue to use demonstration as a means to achieve their demand of a fair and clean election. In my opinion, it is not the issues of having a clean and fair election but it is the issue of Anwar trying to paint the image of cruelty and tyranny to the ruling government. The government must not succumb to the political tactics of Anwar. There is no election in the whole world, which is really clean and fair even if the ruling party of this country is PKR. Issues of a clean and fair election are only used as a means to gather crowd and to create chaos and tyranny in the country. Arabs spring is street demonstration, which turns violent and finally lead to the downfall of the ruling government. Nik Aziz has given the fatwa of wajib (compulsory) to participate in BERSIH and he said he will give continuous support to BERSIH, because Nik Aziz believe it is the way Prophet Muhammad saw did in order to prevent injustice and Nik Aziz personally call the BERSIH rally as the act of Jihad. Whoever regards Nik Aziz as Tuan Guru will certainly follow him and by this Anwar has another important so call religious personality to support him.
How Nik Aziz has come to the fatwa it is wajib to participate in BERSIH and that, it is an act of Jihad, only Allah knows. It is strange to know that Nik Aziz has given the fatwa of wajib to participate in BERSIH. Demonstration is not the way shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw to prevent peoples from evils and to call peoples to good. Anwar and Nik Aziz are two people in Malaysia who teach peoples to prevent mungkar (evil) by creating another mungkar (evil). Evils done by Barisan National cannot be eliminated by doing other evils. Allah does not ask us to repel evils by evils but to repel evils by good. Nik Aziz has interpreted the government led by Barisan National has done injustice to the peoples when the demands of the opposition party on election procedures is not fulfilled by the government. Is it wajib or harus to vote for a candidate in an election? The fatwa on this can be given by Nik Aziz alone or by a group of an expert on Fatwa? Nik Aziz cannot give any Fatwa alone and to follow the fatwa given by Nik Aziz is null and void. Prophet Muhammad saw has never adopted the democracy system as a method to choose a leader. A good leader can only be chosen from a group of good peoples. Where are the good peoples of Malaysia and from among them we should choose our leader and not from the process of democracy that is a system created by the infidels. Democracy system is a system develop by the non-Muslim of Greece and it is not even the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad saw. How Nik Aziz can give fatwa that to attend BERSIH is wajib and it is an act of Jihad. Because of this fatwa many Pas members including the old and aging members of Pas join BERSIH. Because Nik Aziz gives the fatwa that it is an act of Jihad, many members of Pas are willing to participate in BERSIH even to the extent of endangering their lifes. If they are killed in BERSIH, their death is the death of a martyr. Nik Aziz is perpetuating the feeling of hatred among Pas members toward UMNO. Nik Aziz was reported to have said; “Pas can cooperate not only with DAP but even with the Syaitan to overthrow UMNO and Barisan National” and Anwar Ibrahim was also reported to have said; “I am ready to listen and to cooperate with DAP but not to anyone from UMNO”.
Nik Aziz believes that BERSIH demonstration and five times congregational prayers are similar. He also believes that the performance of Friday prayers with congregation is also a demonstration. Muslims from all over the world meet at Arafah during the Pilgrimage is also to Nik Aziz a demonstration similar to BERSIH. Both BERSIH and the performance of five times daily congregational prayers are only similar in the sense that there are many peoples who come together to a place to do something which Nik Aziz call it as demonstration. However, both demonstrations have a extremely different intention. BERSIH is a demonstration of hatred towards the government of Malaysia with the intention to gain power and wealth, and five times congregational prayers are a demonstration of love and submission to the Almighty Allah with the intention to please Allah. Actions are same when the reason why the actions are done and the intention are same. BERSIH and five times congregational prayers are entirely different actions, because both have different reasons of doing and different intention. Intention or niat in doing an action is the determining factor in deciding whether an action is similar or not. It is ashamed upon Nik Aziz to equate such a low-grade action as BERSIH with such a great action as the performance of five times daily prayers. Nik Aziz has a look of religious and knowledgeable person but in reality he is a politician much lower than Tun Dr Mahathir in the eyes of Allah. Tun Dr Mahathir is a good politician who hardly uses Islam as a tool in his politic but Nik Aziz is a bad politician who uses Islam to the maximum as a tool in his politic. Both Anwar and Nik Aziz are two Malaysian politicians who appear to look religious but in reality, they are not religious and they are just like the artificial flowers without odor.
As a Muslim, we should use the way of our Prophet Muhammad saw in choosing our leaders and not the way of democracy, a system that is developed by the non-Muslims. Using the system of democracy in selecting our leaders will lead us to a disaster and calamities. Instead of blessing, we will get calamities if we use the system of democracy in choosing our lawmakers. The way to choose our leader is the same as the way we choose a person to become the imam of a congregational prayer. The best among us is the one who has the most fear in Allah and the best among us should become our leader. A person who has the most fear in Allah is the one who has the strong believe in the unseen, who perform prayers like our Prophet Muhammad saw did, who invite peoples to good and forbidding peoples from evil like Prophet Muhammad saw did and who gives some out of the bounties that Allah has given to him to the needy. We can choose the imam of a congregational prayer only from among those who regularly perform prayers congregationally. The best among them must be made imam and the suggestions as who is the best among them must come only from those who regularly perform congregational prayers in the Masjid. The choice of who should become imam does not depend on the majority of peoples who like him to become imam but depend on the most qualities love by Allah posses by him as an imam. In order to choose an iman in a Masjid we do not need a general election in which everyone, men, women and LGBT (Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people) in the locality to vote. If we run a general election couples with BERSIH to select the imam of our Masjid, we may end up having an imam who is a women, LGBT or a man who hardly pray in the Masjid. Similarly, in choosing our leaders, we must not use the system of democracy or otherwise we may end up having a LGBT like Anwar as our Prime Minister or even worse a non-Muslims like Lim Kit Siang as our Prime Minister.
BERSIH is only the gimmick used by the opposition parties to gain sympathy of the public and to paint the image of cruelty and aggression upon the ruling government. BERSIH cannot clean the system of voting in a democracy system. There are so many loopholes in the system and no one in the world would ever be able to have a really fair and clean election. System made by men, can never be pure and clean. This is because men are terribly in love with power and wealth. Men will manipulate the system in order to enable them to gain power and wealth. Men will try to maintain power within their family circles like Jemaah Tabligh. In Jemaah Tabligh, only those who are connected with the family of Maulana Ilyas can become the leaders of Jemaah Tabligh. In India, only those who have the relationship with Nehru can become the Prime Minister of India. Many Arab countries have general elections and the result of the general election always show that the ruling government has the majority votes of the peoples. In reality, it was not true that the ruling party has the majority votes. If the ruling government has majority votes then why in so many Arab countries peoples are revolting against their government known as Arab spring. All this while there is no true democracy in the Arab countries. Because of love of power and wealth the ruling party manipulated the voting system and made them appear to have the majority votes. I strongly suggest that we should abandon the democracy system and abandon BERSIH. When we, all Muslims decide to adopt the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad saw in choosing our leader we will be blessed by Allah.

BERSATULAH ORANG MELAYU

BARISAN LOST IN SIBU BY ELECTION

It was a great surprised that Barisan National lost the Sibu by election. Sibu constituency has been a stronghold of Barisan National for many years. The Prime Minister was convinced that the by election would be won by Barisan National. The result of the election is an eye opener to Barisan National was said by the President of MCA, Dr Chua Soh Lek. He said there are many issues that involve the Chinese communities which are not resolved by the Government. What are the issues are only known to the President of MCA. All races have many unresolved issues but other races are not as vocal and united as the Chinese are. In the by election of Hulu Selangor CLICK the Chinese communities also did not support the government either as they also did in the Sibu by election. If the pattern continues until the next general election Barisan National may even lose the general election. Barisan National must immediately resolve many issues if they want to win the next coming general election, but as Tun Dr Mahathir has indicated previously the time is short and the problems to be resolve are far too many. Our Prime Minister is working hard to resolve all the problems of our country as well as the party, but as human being he has many short coming. Many people around him instead of helping him to resolve problems are adding more problems to him.

Malays are emotional people and when there are emotional issues involving the government particularly the Prime Minister, the Malay’s emotion can be played so such an extent that, they may not even support the government. In that situation, the Malays can easily change their votes to the opposition. The Chinese are more looking at the economic problems. When business is good and the country is prosperous the Chinese will support the government.

The Chinese support the government during the time of Tun Dr Mahathir although during that times there were many emotional issues related to the Prime Minister. More Malays at that time tend to support the opposition as they perceive the government at that time is doing injustice to a particular individual. The Chinese on the other hand are not emotional as the Malays and the Indians are. They hardly bother about any moral issues related to the government. The Chinese is more worried about the economic problems. They are worried more about their livelihood than the scandals face by the leaders of this country. The Indians are more sensitive to issues related to Indians communities. It is probably easy to tackles the Indians than the Malays and the Chinese. It is difficult to tackles emotional and the economic issues that the Chinese and the Malays perceive as important issues. The governments are now facing both the emotional and the economic problems and the support of the Malays and the Chinese towards the present government has reduced dramatically. When the support of the Malays and the Chinese to the government is down the present government is expected to lose in the next general election.

In order to win in the next coming general election the government must resolve both the economic and the emotional problems facing the government. The emotional problems face by the government is great as it involve the Prime Minister and his wife. The murder case of the Mongolian lady, Altantuya was not resolved. The public has doubt that the murderers of the poor Mongolian lady were the two policemen that were sentenced to death. The trial of the murder case did not reveal the names of the person or persons that had given the instruction to the policemen to killed the lady. All peoples know and convince that no policemen will ever do anything without instruction. Who instructed the two policemen? These still remain a mystery. In case Abdul Razak Baginda was not the one who was involved, then who was involved? The public want to know and they have suspected that the government of Malaysia must have been involved.
The image of the government is greatly tarnished and to work of cleaning the image of the government is indeed tantamount. Although our Prime Minister has denied his involvement in the murder case of Altantuya but the Malaysian public particularly the Malays in my opinion is not convinced. The Malays are particularly sensitive to issues related to moral and religion while the Chinese and the Indians are not. When these issues are capitalized to its maximum by the opposition party in the next coming general election the government will certainly lose the votes of the majority of the Malays. In case the economy does not improve the government will certainly lose the vote of the majority of the Chinese. In this situation in my opinion the government will lose in the next coming general election. Indians are very sensitive to any issues related to their race and their needs. Since the numbers of Indians are less than the Malays and the Chinese, the government may temporarily ignore any issues related to the Indians. On issues related to the Indians it is wise to let the Indians themselves to resolve the issues as any comment on their issues will be regarded by Indians as interference.

In order for the government to win in the next coming general election, the government has to focus on the economic issues. The government has to continue to subsidize the important commodities in order to prevent the increase of food prices. The people are not impressed by figures that indicatethe country prosperity but they are more interested with their own prosperity. Everyone is concerned with the increase prices of food and petrol. Any increase in the price of food and petrol and stringent measures on government spending will clearly indicates to the public that the economy is worsening and this immediately set an alarm on their mind that the present government has to be changed. When this alarm has been set on their mind then in the next general election the opposition party will win the election with overwhelming majority. In order to win in the next general election the government has to be popular. The government can never become popular when economy is down and the prices of foods and petrol are high. Malaysians have been pampered with subsidy and they are used with that and any action taken by the government to withdraw the subsidy will not be a popular actions.

ANWAR IBRAHIM-MANUSIA BIASA ATAU TUHAN?

Someone who is regarded and wants to be regarded by his followers as cleans and pure has to maintain lifestyles that look superficially by his followers as clean and pure. Anwar Ibrahim wants his followers to think and believes that he is pure and clean. Anwar Ibrahim is continually denying that he is not the person who is in the video sex. Many, particularly those who regard Anwar Ibrahim as pure and clean, will agree with Anwar Ibrahim that the person in the video sex is not Anwar Ibrahim. However many who had watched the video sex said that the person in the video sex is definitely Anwar Ibrahim. Some of the reporters who had watched the video sex believe that the person in the video sex is certainly Anwar Ibrahim. Anwar, his wife and his supporters went to make a police report denying the person in the video sex is Anwar Ibrahim. At that point of time no one was saying that the person in the video sex was Anwar Ibrahim. Many are saying that the person in the video sex look like Anwar Ibrahim but Anwar Ibrahim immediately went to make a police reports, charging the persons who were disclosing the video sex to a group of reporters were his political enemies who are trying to undermine his political career. Anwar wants to highlight the point that whatever accusation made against him is political conspiracy. Undoubtedly Anwar is a political figure, who is on the rise to become the next Prime Minister of Malaysia. He is the leader of the opposition parties in the parliament. No doubt, Anwar has many political enemies who are trying to kill his political career. Anwar is trying to use the fact known to all that politic is dirty and all politicians other than him are dirty. Anwar wants to tell to his followers that, in this world, only, Anwar Ibrahim is clean and pure. He was once, the leader of Muslim Youth Organization of Malaysia, ABIM who are naïve about politics. He wants his followers to know that he is still the same Anwar who was clean and pure and he is the victim of political conspiracy. Anwar always uses the term conspiracy in order to highlight the fact that only him, as a politician who is clean and pure and all other politicians in Malaysia are bad and dirty.
All over the world know that Anwar was once the leader and the founder of Muslims Youth Movement of Malaysia, ABIM. He was one of the council members of the World Muslim Youth Movement, ABIM and Anwar is known to all in the world as the one who can give speeches with quotations from the verses of the Quran. Anwar is a good speaker that can charms his audience. He has been portraying all this while the image of a clean and pure Muslim leader and in public, Anwar is seen as a person who observed his five times prayers. When he was the leader of Muslim Youth Movements of Malaysia, ABIM he conducted a discussion group about Islam known as Usrah among the leaders of the movement. During his youth, he was known as an active Muslim student leader who was against injustice done by the government of Malaysia. He led many demonstrations against the government and throughout his life he was a fighter (according to him) against oppression and injustice to the peoples. He has been kept in detention camp by Malaysian Government for nearly two years. He was detained under the Internal Security Act, ISA during the time of Tun Abdul Razak. Many Muslim youth during his time adore him and followed him. In the past, Anwar was an eloquent speaker, when he spoke, he can pull crowd by thousands to listen to his speeches. Anwar speeches were fiery and full of energy and many were willing to listen to his speeches even if the speech went for several hours. No one was bored listening to Anwar speeches. When anyone listens only to his speeches, he or she will definitely conclude that Anwar Ibrahim is a leader, who is clean and pure in this world and he is the answer to Malaysia and the Muslim world. Anwar’s ability to make good, fiery and Quranic coloured speeches had charms thousands to believe that Anwar Ibrahim is a Muslim leader who is clean and pure.
With the image of clean and pure attached to Anwar Ibrahim, Anwar must ensure his image of clean and pure is not tarnished. Anwar will do anything to ensure the image of clean and pure remain with him. The last thing that he had is his image and he must fight to the last in order to maintain his image. Anwar has lost the chance to become the Prime Minister of Malaysia in 1998. He was about to become the next Prime Minister of Malaysia, after Tun Dr Mahathir when he was accused of sodomy and bribery in 1998.In order to maintain his image of clean and pure, Anwar must resort to the tactic that everything done to him at that time was a conspiracy. He accused Tun Dr Mahathir who at that time was the Prime Minister of Malaysia as the leader of the conspiracy. Logically, Tun Dr Mahathir cannot be the leader of the conspiracy, because he was then the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Why should a Prime Minister do a conspiracy to topple down his Deputy Prime Minister? As a Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir did not have to do any conspiracy to bring down Anwar Ibrahim from the post of Deputy Prime Minister. When Tun Dr Mahathir wants his deputy to step down, there must be a really strong and genuine reason, which only Tun Dr Mahathir knows. It is not a conspiracy but an important and crucial decision which has to be made by Tun Dr Mahathir in order to save the country from the wrong doing of Anwar. I strongly believe that it was not easy for Tun Dr Mahathir to reach to the decision of asking Anwar Ibrahim to step down as Deputy Prime Minister and Timbalan Presiden UMNO. Anwar must have committed a very grave mistake that make Tun Dr Mahathir to ask him to step down. If Anwar was an obedient and humble person, he should have obeyed his leader Tun Dr Mahathir but instead Anwar was an arrogant person and he refused to resign. Anwar become arrogant, because many people praise him whenever he made any speeches. His supporters and followers praise him and this made Anwar to become proud and arrogant. Anwar think, he has the ability to give eloquent speeches and many will adore and follow him and so he decided to disobey and to fight Tun Dr Mahathir who has been all this while doing good to Anwar. Tun Dr Mahathir took Anwar into UMNO and made him as a minister. While Anwar was in UMNO, Tun Dr Mahathir always supported him and always on the side of Anwar. Since early 90’s, peoples had reported to Tun that Anwar was involved in sodomy, but Tun Dr Mahathir ignored the reports. Tun Dr Mahathir had taken Anwar into UMNO and the government because he was one of those who believe that Anwar was a clean, pure, dynamic and progressive Muslim leader. With the Islamic image of Anwar in the international level, Tun Dr Mahathir think Anwar can be used as means to help the poor Muslim countries in the world.
Anwar was praised by Muslims in Malaysian as well as Muslims in other Muslim countries. With all the praises, Anwar has developed a belief that he is special and great in the eyes of many Muslim leaders as well as in the eyes of some non-Muslim leaders in the world. He thinks he can fight and challenge Tun Dr Mahathir. When Tun Dr Mahathir asked him to step down amicably, Anwar refused to follow the advice of Tun Dr Mahathir. When Anwar refused to resign, Tun Dr Mahathir had to sack Anwar from the post of Deputy Prime Minister .When Anwar was sacked by Tun Dr Mahathir; Anwar was ready to fight Tun Dr Mahathir by making streets demonstration. Immediately after Anwar was sacked by Tun Dr Mahathir, Anwar gave a fiery speech after Friday prayer in Masjid Negara and asked the crowds to follow him in street demonstration. Anwar was back to the streets with the youth chanting the words Reformasi. Many were deceived by Anwar and made to believe that he was victimised by Tun Dr Mahathir. Tun Dr Mahathir was called by the supporters of Anwar as MahaFirun and the public was made to believe by Anwar was the victim of conspiracy designed by Tun Dr Mahathir and his cronies. Anwar denied that he had committed sodomy and illicit sex. Many did not believes that Anwar whom they believes all this while as a Muslim leaders that is pure and clean will never committed such acts as sodomy and illicit sex. The court sentenced him to imprisonment of six years .While in prison, some said that Anwar spent more time in studying the Quran .When Anwar came out from the prison, he became the hero of the opposition party and with his fiery and energetic speeches, the opposition party for the first time can take control of 5 states. This has never happened before in the history of Malaysia. Anwar become the centre of attraction and hope for the opposition to take over Malaysia from the hand of Barisan National, the party that has ruled Malaysia for more than 50 years.
Anwar is back to his spirit and he saw the hope to be in Putra Jaya as the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Allah is great and it is the plan of Allah, not to let Anwar to become the next Prime Minister of Malaysia. With the permission of Allah, all of a sudden, Anwar is again involved in sodomy II and now with his own personal aids, Saiful Bukhari. Again, Anwar is trying to make the situation to look like a conspiracy and this time the one who designed the conspiracy is Dato’ Seri Najib, the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Many still do not believe that Anwar is committing sodomy and even with this recent video sex, that shows a person that look like Anwar with the prostitute from China, many still do not believe that the person is Anwar. Many believe that it is political conspiracy designed by Barisan National to destroy the political career of Anwar. Although DNA found in the rectum of Saiful is the same as DNA found in the things used by Anwar in the lockup, many still believes that it is political conspiracy of Barisan National against Anwar. Many believe that Anwar is pure and clean and a person like Anwar, who is already old, will never commit such bad and dirty actions. I just want to remind those that believe Anwar will never commit sins or mistakes, as Anwar is a normal human being who must make sins and mistakes. Only Allah will never makes mistakes or sins. Even, prophets make mistakes and sins but Allah had forgiven all their sins because they all are Maksum. Anwar is not pure and clean as only Allah is pure and clean. If you believe Anwar will never makes mistakes and sins that mean you believe Anwar is God. Anwar is neither prophet nor God. Please let your hearts to have some spaces to believe that Anwar may commit mistakes and sins. It is better for you to pray that Anwar admit his mistakes and do repentance. Admitting mistakes and making abundance repentance is an action loved by Allah.
